Go get 'em!! What size M&H are you running? The 275/50-17 drag radials?

How do you like them... do they hook well? I was thinking about trying a pair of them when I have to replace my 275/40-17 MTs.

Well, I can only tell you what I have done with the M&H's because I have never run the MT's, so I can't give you a good comparison, but...

At Irwindale, a track known for its excellent track prep, I consisently 60' in the 1.67 to 1.71 range, on N20, right out of the hole, with stock suspension, 4.10's. I have gotten some wheel hop on a couple of passes, so just tonight I put on some LCA's and removed the front sway bar.

BTW, just once you ought to make the long drive to Irwindale if you spun any at the Q. What was your 60' on your best runs??

I have only had the car at the track once since the blower install (last week), and unfortunately it was a foggy night, so moisture settling on the track was an issue. The Q is notorious for poor traction, but my best 60' was 1.79 on a 7.85 run. I haven't had a chance to run at Barona yet (better traction, but higher altitude and warmer air). Both the Q and Barona are running next weekend, so if the weather cooperates, I'll see what it will do then.

Do they run every Thursday at Irwindale? And other that the Summit Series, do they ever run on weekends there?

Here is a link to there website and schedule....

http://www.irwindalespeedway.com/dragstrip...e/dragsched.asp

It mentions on the bottom street legal drags on Sunday, but the schedule does not list any other than the summit series.

Thanks... I had already looked at that, but they only list the next two Thursday's. That's why I wondered if they run every Thursday, and it's just not on the website. They need to improve the website some...

Famosa is a 500-mi roundtrip drive for me. One of my local 1/8-mi tracks is running on 2/25, so I'll be there. Thanks for asking though!

Yeah, I figured it would be way far for you.....its even 104 miles for me one way. But I really want to run at a decent 1/4 track thats not 29,000 feet in fricken elevation.....my car needs an oxygen mask racing at LACR.

LOL... I hear you! And last I heard, Fontana won't be up an running again until April or May.

BTW, I'll be at Adam's shop tomorrow getting the tune tweaked, and will probably go do a little testing at Irwindale afterwards.

Post your results when you get back.....I can't wait for FAMOSO this weekend. I am guessing I am going to run a 12.1X @ 111.XX. Will post on Sunday the real numbers!!

AT FAMOSO today I ran a 12.300 at 103.81 with a new best 60' of 1.647!!

However, the bad news is I melted a spark plug on that same run at the 1,000 foot mark, and lifted, ergo the low trap speed. So I know the car has a 12.0x in it.
