Slightly improved!!
Well, I made it back to Milan Dragway for a T & T nite (Wed & Fri nites) this past Wednesday and got 5 runs in. First 3 I got in pretty quick, before 5 p.m., then the last 2 the staging lanes got real full and the wait got pretty long ( an hour between the last 2). Times were all over the place but I did get a couple of back-to-back 2.35 60-ft (2.50 was the best before) and the helped me get a 14.52 @ 96 mph. Not great, but not too bad for only 6 runs ever!! Started to get the hang of it, really gotta ease it out of the hole, but not too slow either. Got to see Jack Roush's daughter and the red test car. Also got to see "Tweety", Barry & Roxanne Shepard's car.Pretty cool to get to see them out just havin' fun!!!

I'm sure once I get a new tq conv and the alum drive shaft I'll see a big difference in my 60'. I'm also STRONGLY considering putting the 4.10 back in when I get the new TC. That or maybe find someone willing to swap a 3.73 with me.

I'm just wondering if its the track conditions and/or track elevation. Are you spinning off the line?

My new 1/8-mile best... 7.195 @ 94.36mph, with a 1.562 60' time. Density Altitude = 3,342 feet. The 7.195 would equate to approximately 11.17 in the 1/4-mile.

Wow, ok. The TQ converter will help I'm sure, and let you launch and higher RPM's. What rpm is your TC going to be set to? Mine is set to 3400 (being installed as we speak). Also, what drive shaft are you going to.

If track is prepped good and no one has tracked water up I will hook, and bog slightly. Usually I spin slightly off the line. Hook - bog, spin- no bog, it's pretty much a wash either way and times are about equal with a limited amount of spin.
BTW, I don't know if it would work for those with SC's, but I figured out that by putting the auto in 3rd you can figure out your stall. 3rd gear on mine won't overpower the brakes and stalls at 2400~2500.
