No, I got a new shield already to replace the cracked one. My question is, do you all want me to send back the cracked on?

Thanks,

Got my CAI this afternoon and couldn't wait until tomorrow to put it in. Came packaged great. Lots of padding, no damage. Install went pretty easy, but I learned the hard way to leave everything loose until it is all in. Then you can ensure clearances and avoid rubbing and hard riding (especially on the ABS lines). Definately more noticable UMPH when you hit the go pedal. And the sound!!!!! I likes it!

ETA - Peagasus - Like the badges. Got a pic of the whole car?

Thumbs up Worth the wait!!!!

I had hoped to have a baseline dyno prior to putting in the Granatelli CAI, but as it worked out the decission to have the dyno was last minute and I already had the CAI on.

I had worked with D'Angelino Racing and Granatelli to get my missing MAF in time for a car show this weekend, and while I don't feel it was the only reason I brought home a 2nd place trophy for the 80s and up category, I do feel the added bling gained me some votes.

So from a cosmetic and performance stand point, I give this product

I have this one that I took last night when I ran 3 laps on the Texas Motor Speedway! What a rush getting up to 110 mph on the back straight away!

Question for Granatelli:

If I purchase this intake system with the re-calibrated MAF and decided later to also get a XCalII could I simply take the re-calibrated MAF out and put the stock one back in?

Also, what is the price on the polished intake system? Where exactly can I purchase one? I ask because when I go to your website there is no prices and a link for retailers etc but it comes up with nothing but a phone number to call. I see many people here who apparently are purchasing them directly and was wondering if that is possible and what the polished one would cost plus shipping.

Thanks...

EDIT:

Forgot to ask if it is possible to purchase directly where do I go to do that? Is there a link?

Call the # on the website. That's where I ordered from.

You might get better results if you had someone do an XCal Tune with the calibrated MAS in place. Sooner or later as more people buy the Granatelli unit I'm confident that someone (maybe it will be you) will send their Granatelli unit to Bamachips, Brenspeed or Evolution Perfomance so they can set up tunes for it. Once that is done these tunes could be sold to anyone who wishes to purchase them. I know that someone sent Doug at Bamachips an Airaid CAI and he developed tunes for that so now anyone with Airaid can specify that when ordering tunes. I bet he would do tunes for the Granatelli unit if someone sent him one.

yes - you can use the Xcal with our system and you have the choice of either installing your stock electronics or working with ours. price for the polished CAI is $375.00 and you need to call 805-486-6644 you can not place your order on line

Please ask for Morgan or JR

Website does not show prices

Any tune that works on a BBK, C&L or JLT should be pretty darn close. We have shipped over 400 CAI in the last 6 weeks - We have offered to sell our parts direct to Bamachips & Brenspeed so they can make tunes and then re sell the kits with the tunes but they want us to give them a kit for Free. We need to catch up on all the back orders before we start thinking about giving parts away. We are confident that all the back orders should ship out this week - thanks to all that have waited patiently

Question

JR, I know that you're sick of questions about the availability of your Fuego Flash Tuner, Part Number F996517, but can you give us a rough idea of when we may expect your programmer to be released? Most of us will wait

We have several BETA test Fuegos on the road. If I pull the trigger we can have them in 3 weeks so figure 5 weeks by the time all final testing is done
