Have you found any strut tower braces that fit over the Whipple? I have the FRPP on my vert and I really like the way it tightened up, I hate to lose it.

Hopefully today is the day my pony is finished. It looked complete last night but my installer insisted on keeping it till today to check over everything.

I called Agent 47 (a vendor of mustang parts), I spoke to the owner who was an awesome guy. he was going to make a strut tower brace for a customer of his that had the whipple supercharger on his car. I'm thinkin about calling him up and seeing what his progress is.

if everything looks good, I might be getting just rotors and pads. either I'll get Powerslot rotors and some hawk brake pads or I might get RotoPro's, rotopro's come drilled & slotted with another brand name performance brake pads, a good package deal for $400 for all 4 wheels. $320 for the rotors (come zinc plated, and center cap powdercoated to whatever color I want and of course the brake pads for $80.

you really dont need the rotors, they are just bling. if you want stopping power, the pads are the most important part to change. flush out with good brake fluid too, makes a huge difference

What is everyone's view on telling/asking they're insurance companies? I have a feeling most companies would not approve of superchargers.

Just got back from Dyno at SLP I'm going out of town so I will post the actual dyno sheets later but get this:

475.5 SAE corrected rwhp (I thought I saw 481 but I'll check the video)
458.6 Trq
554.1 chp
534.2 CTrq

The SLP engineers were very impressed with the performance of the kit and an engineer from Ford came down and said it performed better than he had expected.

In short I am one happy Mustang owner

I'm wondering the same thing. I want to have coverage incase of theft or collision but I don't know if they will cancel or raise my rates.

They have to approve of superchargers or else the all the facorty s/c mustang's wouldn't get insurance

screw the insurance company, mine will never know. i'm not worried.

i will get interior clips and street clips guys. its a matter of getting someone to hold a camera in the passenger seat or hold the camera outside the car while I drive.

well, if you don't tell your insurance, and your car is stolen or wrecked, you're gonna lose all the money you forked out for your extra goodies.

I'm going to get additional coverage when I go SC. Sure, the rates may go up a little, but worth it for the peace of mind, IMHO.
