FRPP / Whipple Supercharger Install.....
well i was sooo worried about the whole thing I took apart the trunk and looked in the spare tire compartment to see if there was something I could find. i brough the install manual with me to see if my installer missed something. and guess what, he did. the shelbyGT500 fuel pump in the instuctions calls for 2 FPDM(fuel pump drive modules) but there was only ONE hooked up! i went through the box with all the stock parts that had to be removed and guess what I found in the tiny box.......the 2nd FPDM!!!!! and i looked, there is a harness thats not connected to anything!! so me, I plugged that other harness into the second FPDM and WALLA!!!!!
i cranked the car on and the thing boosted to 60psi upon startup reved it and went as high as 60psi, ( it was only going to 38PSI before) and I decided to take her for a spin, and there is a hell of a lot MORE POWER NOW!!!!! i punched it lightly at first and the PSI gauge went up to 50!!!!! and when I fully let on it, it went up to 60!!! where its suppose to be!
a simple mislooked connection was the problem and it was solved in a min when I opened the trunk. this is why the car was running LEAN and NOT GETTING THE FUEL IT NEEDED!! i've called my installer to let him know and left him a voicemail, but the rest of the install was flawless, no other problems except this one, I'm very pleased the way this blower turned out!!
more vids to come....
and to show you what it looked like before i installed te 2nd FPDM, this is what i saw when i opened the trunk........

Congrats Mav.......Nice car!!!!! I've read some other posts that when hooking up the GT500 fuel pump for the FR Whipple kit you need to "disconnect" the relay for the fog lights and by doing so the fog lights won't work. Did you find a work around for this? Do your fogs work still????...
I just saw the latest clip and at first I thought... it's not all that loud, cool, but no biggie... Then it goes to WOT and OMG, I can't type what my first reaction was but it rhymed with BUCK

Congrats. That is simply outstanding. How long before you need a new set of tires ??
Now I want one.

Sweet man, glad you got everything hooked up and working right. Must feel good! I wonder what your HP will look like now. You deserve some free dyno tuning sessions at the installers expense, at the very least.
When you get your all expense paid dyno session please share the results!

I just thought about something... Are you ever going to push the limits of your blower and up the PSI? I'm planning on strengthening my internals in the spring and upping the boost on my magnacharger.
If you end up doing the same some day, we could also get somebody with the Kenne Bell, and I'm 100% sure we could get in a magazine write up showing results for all 3 blowers at increased PSI beyond 8 to 10 psi...
according to what i've read, after 10psi the magnacharger is not as efficient as the twin screws, but I'm going to push the limits next year and find out

Would I be able to run my jlt with the magnacharger?
