FRPP / Whipple Supercharger Install.....
lol, my dad was telling me you guys were postin like crazy and missing me so I had to take a break from driving my stang, LOL.
anyways guys the whipple feels great! when ya punch it the power is there. I can't belive how quickly the speed just rises when you barely touch the gas pedal. its really amazing! i am soo glad I went with this kit. the whine is incredible. I gave quite a few people a run for their money already. a POS turbo jetta, honda civic with falling apart body kit and a Trans Am, newer body style!!! i was a little iffy on the turbo jetta cause it sounded like he had some work done to it, but I think in the end I think he was just running a STOCK turbo with an aftermarket blowoff valve which made it sound loud.
and to answer my question I posted a long time ago about the mix of a supercharger and an aftermarket exhaust, HOLY SH*T my SLP Loudmouths are even more wickedly LOUD!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!
All under the hood looks great, nice, clean install, very pleased with my installer. my dad was very pleased as well with the install, but he had his iffy moment about the fuel pump issue. my installer have an associate of his worked on my car too. when I arrived during the instal, his associate was working on the intercooler and he did a phenominal job and he just loves the new mustang. unfortionately he was the bad boy who was workin on my fuel pump and the one that forgot the plug in my other fuel pump drive module to make my fuel pump run properly.
my dad has yet to drive the stang, but he's itchin to drive it.
I can't say enough how much I love this supercharger and how I highly recommend it to everyone. the whipple tune feels great guys, it really does. I'm not all about getting a custom tune now and tweaking it here and there and increasing the boost. I'm happy where it is, this much power will get me in enough trouble as it is!
to answer some of the questions, you can juuuussst hear the whine in the car while @ WOT, but on the outside of the car, thats a different story!!
so far the power in the mustang has spun a lot of heads, on and off the streets. but man has it ****ed of my neighbors even more!!!!!! hahahahaha
i am rescheduled to go back tonight to do the official dyno runs and I will be more than happy to post the dyno graphs.
i am to meet a TMS member today for lunch and man is he gonna get a suprise.... see ya later this afternoon John!

I've heard in multiple occasions that when installing the GT500 fuel pump the instructions say to "remove the fog light" relay in the fuse box and install the wires for the fuel pump inplace of where the fog light relay would be causing the fogs to no longer function. Just trying to get more info on this because I found it hard to belive the Ford would engineer this in such a way......Can anyone else chime in and add to this????
Car looks and sounds awesome though......Nice Mustang!!!!!!......I just bought a 2007 Mustang GT in July and I'd like to get blown but I'm just trying to do my homework for now..........Best of luck and post your dyno numbers...

from the instructions from whipple, you are to run the wire through the car and harness it to the fuse box under the hood. they did not have to tap into my fog lights or take off my fog lights for that matter. my fog lights work fine.
they did however take my fog lights off to put in my intercooler. thats the one thing I was impressed with. you DID NOT have to remove the bumper to put in the intercooler, just snap out the fog lights, slide the intercooler in and its done!

and in the beginning I had dyno done with BamaChips tune & C&L intake with steeda pullies....
so here is a graph of the before dyno with all the minor bolt on mods, and then the after with the blower:

from results of others with mid-pipes and longtube headers, they have lost power with the whipple tune cause of the open free flow exhaust. this Whipple kit is meant for STOCK exhaust (headers and midpipe), doesn't matter if you got axle backs.
if you have longtubes or a midpipe, you need a custom tune with the whipple or it will throw a lean code.
