Clutch kit

Hi,
Because my clutch is broken I need new one (clutch disc, presssure plate, throw out bearing, pilot bearing). I can buy performance kit but would like to avoid extra pedal effort.

Which kit you recommend?

Thx,
stanglex

I have a set up that works flawlessly. Centerforce aluminum flywheel, Centerforce DF clutch kit with an MGW shifter. It wasn't nearly as good with the same set up along with the Steeda Triax shifter.

Thank you!, but I need help with finding online shope which offers Centerforce DF clutch kit (clutch disc, presssure plate) and also throw out bearing and pilot bearing. I would like to buy this four items together.

The Centerforce DF clutch uses the OEM throwout and pilot bearings. You get the disc and pp with replacement stepped dowel pins for the flywheel.

Look at this Centerforce page and read the listed docs. Very important info for changing your clutch.

I never liked centerforce myself in other cars. I felt they were WAY overhyped. I certainly never felt a great increase in clamping force like they advertise. I hear spec clutches are very good.

I will note that someone on the forums, made a bunch of passes on the original clutch. Replaced it with an aftermarket one when the stocker finally went. And the new one lasted 1/3 of the time the original did.

He bought another stock one if I recall.

Mcleod's new RST is the way to go. You can either use their flywheel (alum or steel) OR you can use your stock flywheel and they have a special adapter ring it bolts too!.. Very trick and it keeps the cost lower for a clutch that will handle 800 hp all day long. And, best part about it is it will retain the stock clutch pedal feel!...

I hear the Spec and McLeod set ups are nice, but I can say this Centerforce set up works great. The clamping force has been just fine.

Am I right that throw out (release) bearing must be ordered together with slave cylinder?

Will I need any new seals to replace clutch? If yes please tell me the name of it.

The slave cylinder is built together with the brg. It's one part. To do a clutch swap you should have the slave, clutch package, loctite thread locker, ARP flywheel bolts (if swapping flywheel), a little dot 3 brake fluid to top off the reservoir, and some brakleen for cleaning the pressure plate and flywheel where the clutch friction material contacts them.

+1 for centerforce here. Launches at 5k, 125 shot, on Dr's and it held like a champ.
