Just got mine done. Don't know the weather conditions but it was a nice SoCal day. About 70 and kind of low humidity at 12:30 pm.

Mods: Mac straight shot air filter, Diablo custom tune (based off steeda), HC trap out and Mac axel backs with a manual tranny.

Pulled on a Dynojet.

No baseline (est 255hp/272 torque)

MANUAL, HC trap removed
Baseline: Dyno Dynamics, 78F, 283.1hp (seemed a bit high)
With mods: Dynojet, 95F, 429.0hp, 390.8tq
GAIN: 145.9hp -ATI Procharger, intercooled, 9psi pulley, Diablo Predator 91 octane tune
Was running really fat around 10:1 a/f ratio at WOT, should be able to squeak out some more hp when I lean it out, but had some issues with the predator tuner. Only ran the engine to 6000rpm and saw 8 psi at the manifold.

I was curious how that procharger is treating you? I'm thinking of eventually getting a SC but havent decided which one.

The procharger kit was well put together and it is a blast to drive. I've been having some issues with the tuning but it is mainly beef with Diablosport, not ATI. The car is an animal at wide open throttle over 3000 rpm to redline.

My latest dyno results and adjustments to the C&L tune to get them.

Well, I added Bassani axelbacks,x-pipe, and comp cats since I last made my confession Father...

Very humid, about 90 degrees.

I filled up with 93 octane, but did still have 1/8 of a tank of 87 octane, so 85 percent 93 and 15 percent 87.

My first pull indicated that I was burning real lean, as I expected, and so I adjusted WOT by 4 points to the rich on both power bands. This eliminated a dip on the curve in the lower power band 90 percent. I probably can add one more point to the rich to make it perfect, but I ran out of money. As it was my pull was 299.8!!! RWHP and 315.2 RWTQ.

Full tank of 93 octane and who knows, I think It would have made an extra .2 hp!

Headers are next, but I am getting married on Tuesday, so who knows when that will happen?

I finally have stock and modified numbers for my car. It is an automatic, with a C&L CAI and a Predator 91 octane tune (no dyno tune yet). The dynos were done by JBA Racing in San Diego on a Dyno Dynamics system.

According to today's pull, I only gained about 13 rwhp with the CAI/Predator, but the torque went up by a whopping 45 ft/lbs. So, the seat-of-the-pants performance I feel with the CAI/Pred setup seems to be torque related rather than horsepower.

Anyway, here are the before/after numbers:

STOCK:

257 rwhp @ 5690 rpm
274 ft/lb tq @ 4246 rpm
Temp was 60F. A/F ratio stayed between 11.4 - 11.8 from 4000-5700rpm.

C&L CAI/Predator:

270 rwhp @ 5634 rpm
319 ft/lb tq @ 3894 rpm
Temp was 64F. A/F ratio stayed between 12.4 - 12.9 from 4100-5900rpm.

There were also a couple interesting items of note.

First, they made both of these pulls in 3rd gear. It seems they couldn't keep the auto tranny from downshifting when they hit the throttle in 4th. However, during a full dyno tune session, they have a way to electronically "lock" the tranny in 4th gear.

I also asked about the correction factor for the Dyno Dynamics system they use. They said that it uses a correction system that will result in lower numbers than say a DynoJet. In fact, JBA has tested both systems. Using a test car, they made a pull on their own dyno and then immediately took it to another shop who uses a dynojet for a comparison pull. The pulls were made about 30 minutes apart, and the dynojet reported about 20 rwhp more than their own dyno.

Hey Don-
Thanks for beating me up at qcom a couple of weeks ago.....

Here are my new dyno numbers as of today... Lets see if i can take you next time
http://s36.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2AJVZW4...AE07UP3AU36F3AU

MOD:
C$L CAI
Bassani Axel Back
Bassani XPIPE WITH COMP CATS
Diablo Predator with my S.T. Motorsports custom dyn0o- tune done by Adam.
Revlimter moved up to 6500
Weather was hot as crap about 95

MAX POWER 285
MAX TORQUE 300
A/F Ratio 12.6- 13

Notes:Adjusted Revlimter up to 6800. Noticed that it had some power at 6000-6300 or so. Then we readjusted the rev limiter back down to 6500 because we noticed power decrease just before that. Then we adjusted the variable cam timing. I must of have about 10 pulls or more...
I am taking back on sat because we want to see were it is at in cooler temps. I thouhgt i could pull 290-95 MAX POWER, but dyno's hurt feelings

DYNORUN 1 BASELINE-
MAX POWER 271.00
MAX TORQUE 288.2

DID do stock run at the track.

with 4.10s and canned pred tune
13.26@106.7 with ~2.05 60'
