Thumbs up

Allright folks. In the spirit of Mustang enthusiasm, I've decided to start compiling a database of all the modified GTs here on the Source.

What I need from you:

-List of actual mods, type (CAI, pulleys, tuner e.g.) and make (C&L, SCT, Steeda etc.)

-Baseline Peak HP at the rear wheels

-Peak RWHP after mods

-Type of dyno used

-Transmission type (M5 or A5)

Some other tips.

-Please include perfomance mods only, particularly, those that are designed to help you put down more power (wheels, gears, etc. may increse ET's but are not relevant in this case). Also, if you have intermediate horsepower ratings at various stages in your modification cycle, please post those as well (I can use each stage as a separate data point, thus decreasing the margin of error for any summary statistics).

-Give as much info as possible. E.g., if you used an SCT tune, what octane did you use etc. etc.

Peace eace:

SCT tune, 91 octane, MMR CAI, Mustang Dyno, don't know the temp but it was on 1/22/05 in Louisville at 9:08am ... 287.3rwhp 307.9rwtq.
This was my first time on the Dyno.
I have installed the Steeda U/D's and the Magnaflow catted x pipe since then but she is at the paint man's house right now getting stripes painted. Will be hitting the Dyno again after I get her back for a re-tune for the x-pipe install.

I don't guess you have been following the boards, but I'm the one who switched to JLT's intake and dynoed 342 rwtq and 310 rwhp that everyone calls BS on. This is the first time I modded my mustang and actually had it dynoed at a shop I looked up on the internet and everyone seems to believe they lied to me. Kinda of takes the fun out of it

Post 'em anyway Every statistical distribution has highs and lows. Your gains will count as much as the next guys/gals.

Absolutely you can and should post them here. I can always update your values later if you see improvments, but even losses are informative to propsetive future modders B)

This is a handy bit of info here. Until you get your database compiled, I'd like to pin this topic. Will a spreadsheet be part of it?

I do follow these boards religously. I know exactly what your talking about. Didn't you have a typo on your dyno chart?

Peace eace:
Not what I wanted but here it is.3/12/05
Dynojet, 65 degrees, 8% humidity, 29.7 barometer
I had my lucky jeans on(not lucky enough)
4.6 3v automatic
1st run- mods were stock tune, trap out, 4.30 gear , results: 256.2rwhp, 276.2 rwt.
2nd run same.
4th run - 24mins later and after 3 consecutive runs, added 93 performance diablo tune, 2% timing, and -2% leaner, 13.2 a/f 268.4 rwhp 282.2 rwt
using 93 amoco fuel
Got to do some work

I wouldn't think that 12 rwhp w/ just the diablo tuner is pretty good to me.
