Advice on gaining 2/10's, we just want to go a bit faster...
bypass the p/s then remove it again for street driving. i also figured out a way to bypass the a/c and p/s by switching the smooth and grooved pulleys but i didn't figure the a/c robbed too much power so the current way i have it is easier to do at the track. it takes all of 20 seconds to remove the belt and about 1 minute to re-install the stock one when i'm done.
at the track i don't have any steering problems and i've only driven it once without the p/s on the street and it was just uncomfortable so i'll just switch the belts at the track.
my delete belt is 85" vs. the 98.5" belt i use for street driving. everybody has different combos of pulleys, e-w/p's etc. so your current belt lengths may vary but the difference should be the same for deleting the p/s at 13.5" shorter.
