I was wondering If I could get some input about gears.
I have an 05 auto, and have been debating 3.73 vs. 4.10
Are 4.10's too much for the street, and would the jump from 3.31 to 3.73 make a difference?
Thanks

Get the 4.10s. Nobody that gets the 4.10s on these cars regrets it, but some 3.73 owners do. I had 4.10s on my 2001 GT and it was GREAT.
Besides, with the taller tires on the 2005s, a 4.10 gearing is only the equivalent of a 3.99 on a 99-04 car.

Ok well im undecided also. I have an appointment on March 2nd to have 3.73's installed in my 05 automatic. The mechanic I spoke with suggested the 3.73's but how much of a difference would it make jumping up to 4.10's? I do drive highway and city daily. Does anyone have the 4.10's in an auto and like them?

I found Motive 3.90's on line for $155.00, thats what im going with. I believe this is going to make a hugh difference in performance. Thanks Swingle007, your suggestions made a difference.
