Installed a set of SLP loudmouth axle backs and a BBK CAI two weeks ago. At first I loved the sound; but now the drone is getting to me. That and all the new rattles that have emerged since the louder exhaust went on.

What size flowmasters did you use? 2.5 or 3 inch 2 or 3 chamber. The car sounds great! Did you consider the Xpipe ? I know the H pipe is traditional, but weren,t you concerned about emissons or inspection? I am in Hampton VA area, did you ever base line your car at the track? Intersted to know if you gained an decrease in et in the 1/4.

I just ordered the flowmasters for the 05 & up I like the sound of the H pipe myself.
To be honest I just sold a 500 plus HP 03 Cobra & really just wanted a cruise type car so max HP does not really concern me. I live in a samll town so inspections are not hard to get.

do i have to replace the intire muffle system to improve the sound. Because of my lease i would not be able to do that. Is there something i can put on that will greatly improve the sound?

has anyone tried anything like this?

For all you drone haters: do what I did, Electric cutouts + flowmasters. The best of both worlds!
