Yugo or 5.0
Back in the late 1980s, there was a guy in New Orleans who was racing Yugos.
This Yugo, nicknamed Stealth Yugo, came 1st in its class and 4th overall (out of 55 cars) in 1989 season. It was beating Porsches, Corvettes and other sports factory cars. It was powered by Fiat's 1.6L engine (~230 hp).

But this one is my favorite. It's owned by the same guy and it's powered by 1.3L twin-turbo engine from Mazda, producing 315 hp.

Goes to show you EVERY car will always have a following. Big or small.
Yugo all the way. And when you inevitably crash it because you can't handle the awesomeness, it will fold into a tin foil ball around you, essentially acting as an inpenetrable suit of yugoslavian armor
Sweeeeet yugo

I knew you would post this, and 'm glad. Love seeing these cars

Yugo was based on Fiat 127 I believe, but it wasn't just Fiat's copy built under Fiat's license. Unlike earlier models. Like this one, Zastava 101, which is Serbian legend. Easy to maintain, cheap and pretty reliable. My dad used to own two of them back in the 1980s.

I would pick the Yugo because they have become a high dollar collector car over the past few years. I like the way the front end looks and the way the exhaust sounds, very sexy.
Don't take my opinions as gospel. I did a lot of drugs from the late 60's to the mid 70's. It was a 'Rock'in Roll' thing. My Doctors tell me i only have 3 brain cells left. I have to make do with what i have, or is it, what i have left. I do the best i can.....What was i talking about?
