Tony, I believe this was a bit of a parody based on so many "help me choose" threads.

I'm confident no one here is actually considering a Yugo. Wide-body kit or not.

choice is obvious, buy the yugo for $500. take the proven racing turbo engine out of it. Install that engine in a Delorean. Then order the MyKey option thats on the 5.0, so that there can be no time travel capability by any unauthorized teenage drivers.
oh, and i think the hollowed out yugo would make a fine birdfeeder or a baby turtle sancturary.

Back in the late 1980s, there was a guy in New Orleans who was racing Yugos.
This Yugo, nicknamed Stealth Yugo, came 1st in its class and 4th overall (out of 55 cars) in 1989 season. It was beating Porsches, Corvettes and other sports factory cars. It was powered by Fiat's 1.6L engine (~230 hp).

But this one is my favorite. It's owned by the same guy and it's powered by 1.3L twin-turbo engine from Mazda, producing 315 hp.

God I hope not. Fiat's quality is worse than Yugo's.
