GT vs Bullitt Comparison
Both of mine are 100% Stock. The only thing added, all weather floor mats.
Mustang appeals to "enthusiasts". It's not just simple transportation. Besides Ford making the car available in so many different flavors, there's more than enough tuners that up the choices available. Basically, if you are a Mustang fan, there's one out there that fits your taste and pocketbook. Then, on top of that, I personally can't think of another car that is modded more by it's owners. It's actually hard to find a 100% stock one IMO.
2008 MUSTANG BULLITT FEATURES
I think You are trying to say the only difference between the 2008 Mustang GT and the 2008 Mustang GT Bullitt is 15 Horsepower?
I assure you there are quite a few other differences.
Here is a small list:
2008 MUSTANG BULLITT FEATURES
EXTERIOR
• Dark Highland Green paint (also available in black.)
• Standard Mustang GT front and rear fascia
• New black-mesh grille is devoid of the standard chrome pony and is accented by a satin aluminum strip that represents the chrome grille surrounding the 1968 Mustang GT in the movie
• Unique 3.5-inch dual exhaust tips
• Dark Argent Gray painted brake calipers closely match the wheel spokes, while staying true to the original 1968 car
• Unique cast-aluminum Euroflange wheels offer a modern twist to the original movie car
• Original 1968 charcoal satin wheel finish
• Wheels wrapped in P235/50ZR 18 BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDWS tires, The same 18-inch BF Goodrich g-Force T/A models Ford uses on its Mustangs at its high-performance driving school in Utah.
INTERIOR
• Dressed in Charcoal Black leather and Satin metallic trim
• Engine turn aluminum panel
• Satin aluminum bezels circle the air vents and gauges
• Satin aluminum shift ball replaces standard leather-wrapped shifter in Mustang GT
• Pedals wear race-inspired aluminum covers that further reinforce Bullitt’s performance intentions
• Clean and simple look: only identifying marks visible inside are the logo and “Bullitt” embossed into the metal sill plates
• The Dark Charcoal leather seats and leather-wrapped steering wheel patterned after those in the Shelby GT500 providing added lumbar and bolster support
ENGINE
• 4.6-liter, 3-valve V8
• 315 horsepower at 6,000 rpm
• 325 pound-feet of torque at 4,250 rpm
• The engine's redline has been boosted by 250 rpm to 6,500
• Engine calibration is designed to increase throttle response for a snappier feel on acceleration
• The top-end speed is bumped to 151 miles-per-hour
• Gears are selected via a Tremac 5-speed manual transmission designed specifically for the 2008 Bullitt
• Features the first open-element air filter in a factory-produced, fuel-injected Mustang
• Hood liner was extensively modified to provide a full seal to the air box ensuring that the engine is fed a steady diet of cool air
• Engine further enhanced by adaptive spark ignition system, new for the 2008 Mustang
• Ford recommends premium fuel for optimum performance, but the adaptive spark ignition will adjust the spark to burn regular fuel without damaging the engine
• The custom-designed exhaust system continues Mustang’s traditional use of a true dual exhaust system with a new H-pipe specifically developed for Bullitt
• All-new mufflers featuring larger 3.5-inch chrome tips are tuned to minimize backpressure, maximize horsepower and provide the Bullitt with its powerful exhaust note
Engineers further enhanced the Bullitt's performance by integrating an adaptive spark ignition system, new for the 2008 Mustang. According to Ford, the system can sense, within a few seconds, what type of fuel is being injected into the motor and adjusts the spark to provide maximum torque at any given speed – and as much as 10 pounds-feet more between 1,000 and 4,000 rpm. The Bullitt can run on either regular or premium fuel, although Ford recommends premium fuel for top performance.
CHASSIS
• The unique live rear axle uses a lower 3.73:1 gear that helps launch the Bullitt with vigor
• Stock Mustang GT shocks and struts were swapped out for new units that allowed engineers to dial in a more aggressive driving dynamic while still maintaining outstanding ride and balance
• A tower-to-tower brace, designed specifically for the Bullitt, lends additional torsional and lateral stiffness to the chassis for improved cornering
• All-new front brake pads were developed specifically for Bullitt while the rear brake pads come from the GT500
I assure you there are quite a few other differences.

Here we go again...
Have you ever even driven an old pre-1971 big block Mustang?
The original 1968 Mustang GT 390 (Curb Weight 3623 lbs) boasted a 0-60 time of 7.8 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 15.2 seconds at 94.0 mph, according to Motor Trend.
The new (and vastly improved) 2008 Mustang Bullitt (Curb Weight 3590 lbs) boasts a 0-60 time of 5.0 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 13.7 seconds at 102.7 mph...

. . . . . . . . . 0-60 ¼ mile
1968 390 ci 7.8 15.2
2008 281 ci 5.0 13.7
That little 281 is Phenomenal

Regardless of what you say the 281 can do, it's still NOT a 5.4 engine and a 281 is not enough when a 5.4 could've also been offered. Antyhing done to the 281 can also be done to the 5.4 and with obviously better results.
And another thing ... the 5.4 is NOT a big-block anyway ... it's just a bigger engine.

Sorry ... the 281 is simply not enough (never has been).
Accord with a tail wind, but who cares, it's still slower.
