Standing start it would be close with edge prob to the accord. rolling the stang should be able to win.

6.86 power to weight ratio (every 1 hp moves 6.86 lbs) for the stang
6.66 power to weight ratio for the honda

but there's more than just the ptw ratios, drivers, traction, conditons and all will contribute. It would be a close race from standing, from a rolling start, the stang should pull away

I dont see where the accord would have an advantage in a standing start? Its FWD, seems to me the rolling start would favor the honda more.

my thoughts on it were usually p/w ratio isn't as helpful on rolling due to weight already in motion so the higher hp usually would be better.

I could be wrong on that. onyl one way to find out! Lets line em up!
