As i was driving home today with my girlfriend...

I was driving about 70-75mph on the freeway, when i see two import cars infront of me, One was a Civic hatchback and the other an Integra. I slowly pass them as they were only convoying infront of me at 60-65mph. But whenever i pass them, the Civic Hatchback would pull up next to me and match the speed that i was running. I didn't want to race them at all. But they kept doing the same thing over and over again for the next 5 miles. I felt like i was being harassed for no reason. I was in no condition to race them since i had a Mini Refrigerator on the backseat/Guitar/Tent/and my Xenon Side skirts, Plus i just recently took out my intake, but left my boomtube exhaust.

Whenever i switched lanes, they would speed up and box me in, So that i couldnt pass. Whenever I would slow down, they would slow down. They badly wanted to race me.

So i went for it.

I was in the left lane, Integra on the middle, and Civic on the Right. We were rolling at 70mph, guy honks, and we went off. I double pressed the gas to launch the car from 70-90mph, in a few seconds i was running 110mph on the freeway. I see both of them on the rear view struggling to catch up. They were so pissed that they couldnt catch up. I see them on my rear view 3 cars behind, I pull to the middle lane, and tease them with my Hazard Lights.

They wanted a second round.

So there i was, In the middle lane, adrenaline still pumping. I see the integra on my right line, He keeps revving next to me. Civic hatch on the right lane boxing me in and wanting to go at it another time. They both wanted a can of whoopasss unleashed again.

But i stayed calm. Just cruising 75 on the freeway, Integra still revving, Civic Still revving.

Then i looked into my Rear view.


I see a CHP officer.He's on my tail. But not flashing his lights/sirens.

I play it cool and took my water bottle. My girlfriend all nervous cause she knows we were going to get caught.


The integra and civic were both on my sides and kept Revving at me. They didnt even notice that there was already a CHP office a car behind them.

I thought it was my doom. That i was finally gonna get a ticket. Have my car impounded...all that crap.

But then, The CHP officer went off to the right lane, pulled up next to me, I wave while holding my water bottle. Integra still revving, Civic hatch speeding up more. CHP officer looked at me. Then he proceeded in pulling over the guy with the Civic.

The guy with the Integra got away.He sped up, looked at his friend in the civic, and exited a few miles away. I exited as well, to have a smoke and calm my nerves.



Long story short.


I won against 2 cars in 1 race. Civic got a ticket for loosing.Integra got served.


I bet you the guy in the civic was so pissed, cause he had intake-headers-mufflers on his arsenal.



Me on the other hand only had my stock intake and aftermarket exhaust.







Racing is bad.


dont do it.


it will cost you alot.



Those guys were just punks, and didnt want to stop harassing me on the freeway.

 

yea i had one fun night with that, but no more its not worth it at all. Thats what the tracks for

 

Fixed.

Those guys always make me laugh, that whole combo freed up MAYBE 5hp. And somehow they still think an econocar is a good base to make a respectable streetcar.

 

I was on a trip to see my younger brother shortly after I bought Greeny, and was CAI/tune only. For a long stretch, I was harrassed endlessly on the highway by, of all things, a Nissan Frontier.

Finally I snapped. The ***-whipping he was handed repeatedly was not pretty.

I told my brother when I arrived. His quote: "A Japanese SUV against a V6 Mustang. It's just like the Special Olympics!"

What is it with all these ricers ? Everytime I get beside one they want to show me up. It must be a downer for em when I won`t cooperate. They would know their not worth my time.

 

Equivalent to:

"I just did a whole pile o' drugs

Drugs are bad, don't do them!"

 

They think by just putting a loud muffler on it makes it fast...NOT! jusy noisy. after all most of the imports have mufflers bigger then their engines.. one case that size doesn't matter.

 

Wow, lol, I've been pestered by tundras and titans on occassion, and in somewhat unrelated news my ego got the best of me when a last gen mitsu eclipse ran up on my tail pretty tight (I guess 5 over was geezer speed) then shot past me. Deeper down the road I indulged the eclipse's need for speed and watched him try and catch up in the 120s and watched him disappear north of 130.

 

I have the wierdest luck. I have never had an econo try me. I have had GTOs do it. Course, me being stock that only has one ending. However I have had a few other Mustangs try to go with me, one was 05+ vert that I just destroyed and one was a 04- that I took and held until he quit.

 

well down in indy this past weekend a full size chevy 2500 diesel with some aftermarket goodies suprized me, he kept up for about 2 seconds before i was gone... of course i only went to the speed limit, just really fast
