Looking real bad@ss as always, Gabe... Really loving those 2010-11 GT500 vert wheels too...
57,947 miles on it, over 12 years since purchase. Just swapped on the wife's factory wheels which have new 255/45/18 all-season tires on them, hoping that I'll get to at least cross 58,000 on the odometer this year.Yes, it's dirty. No, I don't really care.

Gabe, congrats on 57,947 miles in 12 years... Meanwhile, are the wife's tires 255/45/18 on all 4 corners or just on the front...IIRC, I thought her Shelby GT500 had the factory staggered setup of 285/40/18 (rear) 255/45/18 (front)

Thanks Rocky.
She's up to 57,997 now, lol.
(took it to work today)
The factory fitment for those wheels was staggered, yes.
I decided to go with the same size for all 4 when I ordered these tires, since they're meant to be just a cold/bad-weather setup, and for state inspections, lol.
So, yeah, all 4 of these are 255/45/18. Cooper all-season tires.

Thanks for clarifying, Gabe... I also recall that prior to ordering the new Cooper all season tires, you had been running the staggered tire setup on the factory GT500 wheels...
Perhaps, that was where I got my signals crossed... LOL
Thanks Rocky.

Well she sure look great. I staggered mine in width only.

I had originally intended on running 285/40/18's on all 4 corners, but when I test fitted them in the front, they wouldn't clear on full lock turn, so in the end I compromised by going 275/40/18 on all 4 corners which provide just enough clearance during full lock turn on the front wheels...

Thanks and yes those sizes are a great setup, especially if not autocrossing the car or doing any road-course racing.
For the street, great setup.
I always want as wide a tire as possible, front and rear, since I tend to push it even on the street (on-/off-ramps), so a 275 is usually my minimum width I'll run in the front. The 255s I have on now are really only on there for 2-3 months until it gets just warm enough again that I'll be able to run my summer setup.
I used mine to pick up a 69 El Camino windshield for a customer from the PGW warehouse. You can fit auto glass into the back of the S550 with the seats folded down, much better fuel mileage than my F-350. Previously I hauled 3 early Mustang windshields in it from the Knoxville warehouse 4 hours away.
I’m away from home for a while and purchased some small parts I need when I get back.
Front sway bar end links with new Ford lock nuts.
A custom shift ****.
I want to remove the front inner fenders to clean and need a couple of these clips, I have the others.
A local guy had an uninstalled oil filter so I bought it from him for cheap.
I'm prepping for Ponies in the Smokies coming up in just weeks and the '03 Mach 1 has no glass in it, prepping to paint the roof and rear quarters as we finally got around to replacing the Passenger quarter panel which was mashed when I bought it as a donor car. Since we decided to save it rather than part it, it's now on the path to looking nice again. We have 5 cars registered for the event...not sure the '66 will make it so my son's '94 GT is plan B on that end of things.

Very cool, love to see the progress and completed beauty.

Are those sway bar end links Ford OEM or Ford Performance?
