Got the monster out for a bit today in the nice weather. Windows down, radio off, just the sound of that Predator engine singing. I honestly believe it's the best sounding factory car I've ever heard.
Gonna have to try something different with taking pics, you just can't capture the true colors of this car like it is in person. Pulled over at a little park, thought I'd try to get the difference between sun and shade in one pic, didn't work 😂.

Being as your S550 GT500 is the top of the line factory production Mustang, not only should it be the best sounding Mustang ever, but also the best OEM Mustang ever produced as well

Guess I'll have to wait to see about best OEM Mustang, but I've had and driven many iterations through the years and it's definitely the fastest, best handling, best braking and most well sorted out by a long shot.
Thanks Tony. How do you rate/compare the green one to your black one?
You're welcome man.
The green car was a lott more raw and muscle car feeling. This black one feels a lot more docile, but is way more powerful.
Not sure if it was because the green car had a manual and a live axle as opposed to this black one that has the 10 speed automatic and IRS.
I do miss the green car though. I wish I could have kept it.

About what I suspected from your experience. Basically the same things I said in this thread last week, but I was a bit more long winded, in multiple posts lol. Don't know if you read that thread.

It's a very nice day so decided to shift some gears and crossed a very bright, very green Camaro.
It was hauling and I reacted too slow to take a pic but found an identical image on the web. Love the color and glad I had my Ray-Bans on.
In my expert opinion , it is a perfect happy color to offset the overwhelming black accents that are prevalent in many cars nowadays.
Come on guys, even the calipers are a match. I commend Chevy for their attention to details.
I commend Chevy for not making the crappy looking Piece Of after the 2024 M/Y
But on the brighter side, that green does kind of match my Diet Mountain Dew Bottle.

I think each car company steals from the other. My Gotta Have It Green I'm sure was taken from Dodge's 'sublime' pallette. Who knows? I just like colors from any manufacturer as it looked like grays and whites were dominant for awhile.
My buddy's Hellcat in sublime vs my GT. Pretty close but Ford did add that pearl like hue to it which you really notice in the sun.

Thanks for the observation, as I'm fully well aware that each car manufacturer tends to borrow/steal from the other and then comes out with their own name for the paint color scheme... I fully agree there is no doubt that Ford's "Got To Have It Green" was taken from Mopar's "Sublime Green" and then Ford added the pearl hue to make it unique and stand out when compared to Mopar's "Sublime Green"...
The same also applies to GM, as they also followed suit by taking Mopar's "Sublime Green" and then adding in their own color hues to create " Shock Green" for their Crapmaro lol...
At any rate, I was just being sarcastic in the initial post about the we now have a "Got to Have It Green" on a Crapmaro comment... Perhaps, I should had clarified by saying " You may be able to put lipstick on a pig and call it " Shock Green" but at the end of the day, it's still a pig as in "Crapmaro"

The color of a car is subjective. Everyone votes with their wallet..
Here are/were a few of mine: 2007 GT 2010 GT 2011 GT (back to the 5.0L) 1994 Cobra 1995 Cobra R (white or nothing) 2019 GT350 (Magnetic Metallic is what Ford called dark grey) 1965 Mustang (race red-code was the 2010 above)
