I Know How That Battery Charger Feels!

Oh And I Gave That Charger From The 80's To My Daughter and Replaced it With My Late Father Inlaws Charger From the 70's about 4 Years Ago it was Nicer and Still in the Box!

I too have one of those and they do work pretty nice, most of the time. But, I have a newer CTEK charger. It is amazing. I bought it when I lost my first battery on the current Mustang, way too early. Thought maybe it would be important for longer life. I have used on on a couple of other batteries outside the Mustang and wanted to have something I could use on the AGM batteries my Jeep Grand Cherokee's use.

One of the batteries I was ready to replace. It was a garden tractor battery that was 4 years old and the Craftsman could not get it to hold a charge. The CTEK has a recondition mode that did wonders. This took place three years ago. I am still using the old garden tractor battery today. The other was one of my son's in a mini-van (feel sorry for him having to drive that. Said he died a little bit the day his now ex-wife talked him into buying it). That too is been a while and he is still using that battery, against my better judgement.

So I am sold that even though I paid about 1/2 what they are now asking. These do amazing things to keep batteries in top condition. This is a link to what I bought just before covid hit.

If in the front, most likely stabilizer links

Agreed! It could also be the strut mounts, especially if they're the original OEM... I had the same issue with the front suspension making clicking/popping noises, mostly when taking sharp turns at low speeds... After upgrading to the GT500 strut mounts, there were no more front suspension noises... If, however, the noises are coming from the rear suspension, then I would suspect the stabilizer bar/end link bushings...

Good catch, but I guess that is part of your job? He posted many times during the 1 1/2 year run.

I noticed that I joined here before you did and started racing before you did (license from 1990-2023). It's all amateur stuff for me.

Since joining here in 2004, I have owned 4 new Mustangs.
2007 Mustang GT

Fast Ford
2010 Mustang GT which I owned for one year.

Good car until the 2011 5.0
The new introduction 2011 Mustang 5.0 with the Permorance Package:

The best in 2011

And nothing much got my attention until the GT350:

Best Mustang every

I bought new tires and changed the fluids. It's the best Mustang that I can buy today. Ford is wasting too much money on their money losing EV stuff. The stock has gone down, and the Ford fans are disappointed. And the UAW may shut them down (I say pay them).

Just bought it a new garage buddy. I think they will get along if the newby doesn't flaunt his 3.1 second 0-60 times.

Take delivery tomorrow. Pics are right off the transport and covered in dust.

Edit: Pics after drive home. Still unwashed; rain tonight. Still badged but monofilament, hair dryer and GooGone at the ready.. Weird to never touch the brake pedal on the 12 mile drive home. Thought I was done with Pirelli P-Zeros, but no.

Congrats on the new transportation module.

Looks like one of the soulless things people were driving in the "Demolition Man" movie.
Same people that needed an ATM machine to tell them that they look good.

Congrats on your purchase.
Enjoy it.

Not to knock @HoosierDaddy down or anything, but, I'll never own an EV. (nothing personal, just not my thing.)
Unless the government makes it almost impossible to own an ICE vehicle. No thank you.

You just gave me a great idea. We need a thread to list anything and everything we would never own. I could fill 10 pages!

I took half a vacation day today since it was gorgeous out and it's almost the end of the month.
Got my yearly inspection sticker for the Mustang today. I had a dude that was working across the street from me, creating a video of my car backing out of the garage and going down the street.

Hopefully, the dude will provide you with a copy of the video with your car, Tony!

Imagine what you could've done if you took the whole day off!
You could've maybe even changed that 4-year-old oil and filter!
