Of course, well that was my guess walking up to it. After snapping the picks the owner and I got to talking and turns out it is a 2012 boss. There are these guy I can't remember where he said they were from that if you give them a donor car from 05 on they can make them look like the 60's versions. This one is cool because it is based off the mustang in the John Wick movies. If you look at the valve covers they say Boogeyman on them. And the stripe on the bottom of the door (sorry pic wasn't that great) also said it. I asked him how much it cost to get done. Get ready. $50,000. A little rich for my taste. It blew my mind but was way cool.
Put my new purple pony on the grille. No,I didn't have a cookout serving unicorn meat, just took care of the missing grille emblem
There are so many cool colors to choose from,I've been trying to decide for weeks. Finally ordered purple chrome
Wow!The bug guts REALLY show up on this close-up
I know,it looks pink,just as I feared.So now I drive a super chick car.Pink pony,convertible,6 cylinder,automatic.At least I got my cool,manly Bullitt wheels on

Wow didn't see that answer coming. Very interesting conversion indeed!

My first guess would've been '69 until I saw the A-pillar and windows were definitely S197. The price didn't seem that outrageous for all the work they had to do on it
Oh yeah I agree the turned the thing into basically a new classic if that makes sense. The price is just out of my range but not bad for all the work. The inside was just a 2012 boss so I didn't get any pics of that but it had the wood steering wheel. That's the only thing they did t do because of liability issues. But they owner did that himself. The guy said instead of a resto-mod it's a modern resto I guess it makes sense the guy was super cool though.
Just finished replacing the shaker 1000 head unit with a "gently used" pioneer with usb and aux jack
The cd changer in the shaker didn't work,so all I had was radio (with pretty much no reception thanks to my new cool looking carbon fiber stubby antenna) and my cheap chinese bluetooth radio modulator contraption
A friend gave me a shaker 500 head unit that a friend gave him,so he didn't know if it worked, and the slightly used pioneer. The cd in the 500 didn't work either,so I slapped in the pioneer
The radio,cd,and aux jack work fine.I haven't tried out the usb to connect my phone to it yet,but he said everything worked when he pulled it out of his exploder
Would you believe, this is the first radio I've had that shows what song is playing on the screen That's some fancy stuff to an old fart like me

Just a few? More like a few thousand All j/k aside, I've been meaning to get up to the Ford/Carlisle nationals, but making the trip from Pittsburgh in the Mustang, I know by the time we'd get there, they'll be bugs and road grime all over it.. The last thing I would want to do is clean the Mustang in 90 degree temps and with no shade anywhere on site. Meanwhile, looks like you had a very good time and thanks for sharing images of all those sweet Mustangs

Don't need to guess, it's a retro/custom build that was built by Duncan Brothers Customs.. Aaron Duncan used to work for Retrobuilt customs in St. Louis, Missouri.. He then started up his own company with his brothers and father, based in Kentucky.. The car is a customer's 2012 GT retrofitted with 1969 body panels called "Boogeyman"
Well yesterday I started out with a simple project in the stang. I wanted to make the silver bezels on the steering wheel black. I think it would look cool. So I painted them with some plastic spray paint. Had to wait about an hour to let it dry to handle then about 2-3 for fully cured. So decided there was a spot on my driver side headlight that needs attention jumped on that low and behold I ended up with the entire front end off so I can replace the headlight. Ugh what a day but here is the steering g wheel. Oh i also tinted my third brake light.
