Drove it like a "normal" person and parked it in the garage for the pending rain storm...

About to take it for a ride to Bethlehem, Pa. I'm rolling the dice because skies are threatening here, but I feel the tang for 'Stang. I normally wouldn't take it out of the garage if there's a chance of wet, but today I have my reasons.

Hope to see some Fords headed to Carlisle since that's the general direction I going in.

This is probably one of those "ya had to be there" stories, but I'm going to tell it anyway.

This afternoon as I was sitting in bumper to bumper traffic on Rt 378 in Bethlehem Pa headed back to Rt 78, a newer black Camaro convertible was stopped behind me. An older guy was driving. Both our tops were down. I had my stereo cranking "My Old School" by Steely Dan, pretty loud I might add. I looked in the mirror and his wife was bopping her head and dancing in place. I figured they were listening to their own stereo. Then I saw her singing along to the song I was playing. I turned it up louder and she gave me fist pumps, still singing along to my stereo. I was laughing my butt off.

Between a V8 Mustang and loud rock and roll, I'd never last in a 55+ community.

well as I thought the weather had a different idea then what the weather folks were telling...so I drove the truck today but on the positive note it at least gave me the opportunity to have a buddy at work check the alignment of the serp belt on the truck so that turned out to be a good thing I guess, also managed to replace the pully as well so all is good, may be showing the mustang some love and replace its pully also, haven't decided yet though...

at the moment I have to do the oil pan, gasket and the alternator on the truck to the tune of about $200 so that is going to go first I guess...

Installed a new UPR Optima battery tray (polished) so the new battery looks like it belongs there! Thanks for the great items you have for our Mustangs, UPR!

Photos from last weekend. I attended a nice car show downtown. I haven't had the time lately to drive her or take pics. Sorry for the delay. Marilyn was detailed at that time with a full wash with Chemical Guys (CG) Mr. Pink, then dried with CG Speed Wipe, then lavished with CG Blacklight, then finally topped with Pinnacle Souveran.

Enjoy.

At home, at 7:00 am, before the show… getting ready.

Found a good spot downtown before the show. I just parked and took some shots. People thought I was crazy. LOL.

At the show… a lot of German cars there, but just a few 'Muricas….

Went to the NH Mustang Club's weekly cruise night last night.
A good mixed bunch of cars, the GF and I had a great time.

Thank you for your generous compliment, and kudos to your beautiful ride as well! You mentioned that people thought you were crazy taking pictures of your car; I hear that from my kids all the time "Do you really need to take ANOTHER picture of your car?" Yes, yes, I do.

As to my activity today, bought a new "Big Red" floor jack/jack stand combo from Pep Boys for only $90! Saw it at the store for $130, but didn't have the right vehicle to take it home. Went home and checked online for coupons, and Voila! The was a 35% off coupon right on the Pep Boys website! Bought it "online" and went back to the store where they put it in the truck for me. Hot dog, I'm going to be changing my own oil now!
Just in case anyone needs a new jack, here's the link: http://www.pepboys.com/product/details/9576492/00240

This morning I took mine for another awesome DILYSI, drive it like you stole it, ride in Sport Mode, Traction off and sometimes in S gear shift mode. Driving it hard to break it in right, IMHO, and many others.

drove buddy today and bought a clutch cable for him (i am thinking the current one os toast...), researched the install process and I am thinking its not going to be too terrible so im hopeful at that...just need to bring my self to do it now as the engine bay is still hot from our outing and its like a good 90* out...and humid...not going to be easy but ehh...I would like to stop slamming gears...

attempted to go to americanmuscle.com to try and order a metal quadrent as well but recieving errors with the site (page can not be displayed) so what ever...

but decided if im going under the dash to refit a new clutch cable I might as well update the quadrent and the firewall adjuster (put one in) and solve my concerna all in one go while im in there

Well I washed and spray waxed mine with Mequiars Ultimate Quick Wax. She's as smooth as glass and looks like new. Obviously she's not a daily driver. Here's a shot of her in her stall. Still love my 05 GT......
