So i took mine in for the new footwear today. AND while they did that I test drove a new 2015 DIB GT with the PPack. I was VERY impressed with the performance package, the interior, the handling, the brakes etc. And of course the color. ( I'll do a more detailed review later.)

However, i still came home with mine

Tested my new VIAIR 400P (pn: 40045) portable air compressor on my neighbors Focus tire and it performed as advertised. Power comes directly from the battery terminals and total weight is 12.6 lbs with it’s carry bag.

^ that's nice John. So a portable compressor, eh? Interesting. So it will be part of the emergency kit in the car then?

Thanks Burton. The primary purpose is part of the emergency kit. The secondary purpose is to air up the tires at the drag strip for the return trip home. All I need is a pair of DOT drag radials, been looking at the Mickey Thompson ET II and M&H.

Well, not MY Mustang, but the GF asked me to move her Shelby out of the driveway (it was a tight maneuver backing up between a car and some cement blocks on a pallet, she wasn't feeling good so she preferred I do the move).

I moved it alright.

Right up to the street where I proceeded to do a nice little burnout

All the tire smoke went right into a grumpy neighbor's house ..... oops!

I've never, ever been to a Starbucks. Never. Not even once. It won't kill me. Been to plenty of donut shops thought. That will kill me.

JHR clutch line installed. Good improvement in clutch feel, I can actually drive it normally now without feeling like it's my first time driving stick.

Did you do the install or did you have a shop do it? I'm curious as to what a shop would charge for the job. That mod is one I want to do soon, but i think i want a shop to do it since I don't want to have to bleed the clutch (which I hear is a pain) and I figure it would be a good time to upgrade the brake fluid.

Only took an hour to do. Most of that was just lifting the car since it's cramped in my garage right now...

Two clips have to be pulled, then the line comes right out, plug in the new one and push the clips back in. Bleeding the clutch just involves pumping the clutch pedal 100-200 times until it firms back up.

ETA - to verify the clutch has been properly bled you need to 1) check the pedal pressure to make sure it's like it was before replacing the line and 2) lift the rear tires off the ground, push in the clutch, then put it in gear. If the wheels move then it's not bled enough. You should only see a very slight movement when it first gets into gear due to the gearbox innards haven't stopped moving once the clutch was pressed (unless you wait a good 5 seconds).

Also, flushing the brakes is super easy if you have two people. Have one person on the brake pedal, another at each caliper doing the bleeding. Put a hose on the bleeder nipple, crack it open just enough so fluid can flow, have the person press and hold the brake pedal, tighten the bleeder again and repeat until the new fluid flows through. Just do that at each caliper and you're done.
