What did you do with your Mustang today?*
Wow would be an understatement.....so many great looking Mustangs in all flavors across the pond.
Any idea how many Mustangs are in England? Is it difficult driving a LHD there?
fyi, we already saw your face on the avatar you had before, so why hide it now? Plus there's a reflection on your passenger side mirror
LOL. hide that too!!!!!!!!!
Seriously though, nice find on the truck. Did they make all the fixes you were looking at before, prior to purchase?
For me, I applied a coat of Dodo Juice Supernatural last night. Why? For no reason. Weather is all 70's and nice this week, but I have no plans of driving her. Just wanted to stare at her in the garage on my way to work and back home. Just wanna keep her clean this week
Gabe congrats buddy!

They did other stuff to it. I'm very happy with it.
Will be doing a full detail on it some time this week, and I will probably use it to move the last of the big stuff out of my condo tomorrow.
As far as the grinning face, well, I used the meme since it had a much bigger grin than I did in the pic, a better representative of how I felt after driving it home

Plus I thought it would look funny

Yesterday, before I picked it up, I ordered new Husky all-weather front floor mats for it.
And I got the truck for less money than some 2wd's are going for in the area, so I really do think I got a very good deal on it.
Now pricing out timing-belt, water pump, and serpentine belt, since the timing belt is due at 90k and it's only a few hundred miles away. The water pump I guess is usually leaking by then, and the serpentine belt is just an extra maintenance item that if you're gonna take off, might as well install a new one on.
Also looking at leveling kits (spacers) for the front-end.
I want that front to be 1-2" higher.
Contemplating black plasti-dip on all the badges, the chrome slats on the grille, then black steel wheels with bigger off-road tires on there
I'm already thinking about storing mine, and it's still 70 degrees out this week!!!
Lol ... what sucks right now is it's not too cold or snowing out, it's a beautiful day, I have a small errand I want to go do, and I don't know which vehicle to take, lol
And yeah, winter months can get nasty around here ... I had a 2001 Ranger for 5+ years, bought it new, loved it in the snow/winter time.
It drove right out of here with no tire spin:

And it cleaned up very nice in the summer :

I was even known to have been a rebel with it once or twice, lol
The lease is up on my '12 Fusion SEL V6 come next April. At least I'll have a winter car to get me through this season before I have to get another.
I'd love a used Sport Trac, but low mileage examples are still mid $20K. Same with a similar style Nissan Frontier. A used Edge would be OK, but I can lease a new Focus for much less than my Fusion, so I may go that route.
I leased an '07 Ranger XLT 4X4. I liked it a lot. Wish Ford didn't stop making them. The lease is up on my '12 Fusion SEL V6 come next April. I prefer my ranger

I looked at Sport Tracs too, but inside they're the same size as the Ranger, and I wanted something bigger, plus I couldn't see paying the prices they want for them 4-door Rangers ..... they never called them that since they couldn't have charged as much for a 4-door Ranger as they could've for an Explorer with a tiny pick-up bed
And for the record, I wear those black "nerd" socks as well.

We will see.
