The only exterior part left to install is the Roush hood scoop.
Your car does seriously look sweet.

Looking good! I'm really happy to see this! Give it some time with the weather and man do I wish it was humid up here!

Thanks again so much for your support and business, we really appreciate it!

Let me know if there's anything else I can lend a hand with and have a great weekend,

Alex

As promised, here are the Roush fogs. Purchased from our friends at AM and installed last night! What a pain that was.

What did I do today with her?

Well... does sitting here at work, reminiscing, missing, and going crazy over how much I miss my car, count as doing something with her? I listened to my clips of my car. God I miss her. Stupid winter sucks. And I love my Corsa Extremes plus x pipe catback.

Burton, I feel your pain along with the other members who have to endure the LONG winter weather. I used to have to store my former '86 GN when I was stationed in North Chicago for 4 winters. Ugh!

(sorry for the lousy photo quality, it's my only surviving pic)

You had a grand national, John??? Those are classic and a collectible! You got rid of it? :cringe:

But yes winter suck, and I simply can't wait till I can drive my car again. I'm guessing I'm still 4-6 weeks out

Yes, I bought new and kept it until 1993, then traded it in. Had some really good memories, but back then I never thought it would reach collectible status like the GNX did.

About to fire mine up and leave the bat cave. I can hear the echo of the 5.0 on the quiet country roads already.

Had to reset the Brenspeed tune on my '05. Had the '05 in for Air Bag Recall, it appears the Ford Tech reset the tune to the Flat Rock settings. Hate it when they do that. Leave the settings alone.

I washed mine today and will drive her to dinner on this, her second birthday. Two full years and I still love that car.

That is a BAMF. I tried to buy a new one back in the day and they had a $5000 mark up on them (imagine how big that would have been in the late 80s) and I wouldn't pay it. The mark up was listed as "limited availability" and they had 3 of them sitting there on the lot. Limited? With 3 of them sitting there? An extra 5 grand? I think not, lol. I bought a Fox body and slapped a Paxton on it, take that on the street Buick, lol.

Thanks! Along with most of the dealers selling over MSRP, some insurance company's were adding a ‘performance surcharge’ to the their policies. With my clean driving record, the annual policy cost was around $1300 for full coverage with the performance surcharge from Geico. Back in ‘86, I was single and had a $20,000 reenlistment bonus burning a hole in my pocket.
