What did you do with your Mustang today?*
LOL we have family there!
Very cool... will have to look you up.
Make sure you come over to Des Moines for the June cars/coffee, plus the good guys show. Also have a big car show next Friday night at Coral Ridge Mall in IA city.

Had two lol, both red (oldest one was a 2000, Laser Red V6...then I had the 2003 Redfire GT). So yeah, confusing. Sold the 03 last week to a friend of a friend, sold the 00 last night to my cousin. The 00 hadn't run in 3 years, but after a fresh battery swap, it took about 4 tries, but it started right up. We made sure it had a full tank of gas before retiring her, to minimize condensation accumulating in the tank. It still runs pretty smooth, so hopefully once that 3 year old gas is gone, it'll run even better.
What time does the car show Friday start?
Yeah man if you are ever down here shoot me a message on here it'll pop up on my phone so I usually see them right away.
What did i do today?
Finished my suspension install! Koni STRT shocks/struts, Steeda springs, Steeda adj panhard bar, Steeda panhard brace, Steeda billet lower control arms, Steeda adj rear upper control arm, BMR relocation brackets.

"What I did today"

Picked up the Mustang and brought it home.

Dirty after sitting for almost a month

And this may be part of the problem. It was supposed to be set up for only 6 or 7 lbs of boost, but maybe it was running higher and we overboosted. The boost gauge stopped reading at "0".

And put up a video of the ticking sound. It almost sounds like an exhaust leak, but with a stethoscope we were able to isolate it to the last intake valve on the passenger side.
Now to get it fixed and back on the road. Easiest will be engine swap, save the original then for a build to run more boost later.
