Didn't do anything to mine today, it was the girlfriend's Shelby's turn to get worked on, out of storage for a few days, enjoying the 45-50 degree weather

So today I installed Steeda Billet Lower control arms, CHE relocation brackets (had to enlarge 1 hole in the pass-side bracket), and Ford Racing "L" springs in the rear only, to minimize the 1.75" height difference.
Lowered the rear 1.5" and hopefully it doesn't settle any lower since we love the current stance.
I took it for a quick road test after I completed all the work and it lays down rubber, no wheel hop whatsoever.
The owner will get to drive it shortly as we're about to head out for some groceries
Yes, a 528 RWHP / 531 RWTQ grocery-getter

Theres a couple (4 to be exact) SRT-10 rams and about the same number of vipers rolling around town here. I remember i saw them all on the highway once on a saturday cruise night and they all sounded so SICK
Might give your Roush a run for its money
Yeah,....those STR-10's are nothing nice. They are quick and sound great. I live in the Northeast, so I need a 4X4 for winter driving.

Thank you Phil. I appreciate it.

This is the exact GoMango color. Looks amazing in the sun after all detailed. (Mine is a single cab with short bed, 4X4.)

Sweet ride man... They're right, that gb and black combo looks fantastic. That matte black 5.0 emblem goes great too. What springs and rims specs?

Thank you! Those are the two things I cheaped out on, lol: SR springs & AM wheels. Was going to go with FR (P springs IIRC) but the SR springs were ~$99 on black friday and got great reviews on AM so I took a chance. So far, so good, but I don't think I got a full 1.5" drop front & rear. The wheels are 18" black gloss Saleen style from AM. They were one of my first purchases but I'll be switching out for 19" CF5s sometime this year to fill out the wells better and so I can fit the take-off Brembos I have. Can't decide if I want matte black or gunmetal, though. Leaning towards gunmetal. What do y'all think?

EDIT: On topic, I drove her to work in the rain. On the plus side, it's not snow.

^ Gunmetal... I've always liked gunmetal, esp on lighter colors. Can't go wrong either way tho.

Nothing. *sigh* My husband drove it to work today because his truck had a flat tire. I miss seeing him in his stall which is by my bedroom and living window.

Getting an MGW shifter installed and having the rear control arms adjusted to remove the hissing from the drive train. Looks like the pinion angle was out of whack after the install.

Getting ready for Las Vegas in April....

I didn't like the sound of the first set of mufflers that 'the muffler guy' installed and last Friday, the dual exhaust was completed with the installation of a pair of Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers...
I didn't want it sounding noisy and/or obnoxious! Has a pretty good growl at 55mph... Very tolerable at 65mph... I did the right thing!!

Saturday, was front KYB Gas-a-Just shocks and I detailed the inside of the fender wells, front chassis and added a fresh set of those little splash guards.
In '73, when my dad got the car, there was a similar set of splash guards that the previous owner had installed but, were a bit tweaked after 49 yrs.
I almost just removed them and didn't replace them but, they may do their job one day... The KYBs made a great difference!

Today, I installed a couple of new "Ivy Gold" repro arm rest pads.

This coming Saturday, I'll install the new rear KYBs and clean up the rear chassis...

I'm waiting for an 'over the console arm rest/cup holder' in "Ivy Gold" that just fits between the buckets (the simple one) and an 'air conditioning front console chrome trim piece' for the naked edge on the front of the console that was removed when the dealer installed air conditioning was installed.
Both of these pieces are backordered with no E.T.A...

StangBoy5.0 painted his coil covers, strut bar and engine cover SGM so I took out mine and he will paint them black with a little bit of sparkle.
