What did you do with your Mustang today?*
4 week winter warm up to the mailbox and back. Normally stretch to 6 weeks but since the factory battery is now 6 yrs old, and a week of sub zero temps, I fired it at 4 wks. Started great!
Well yesterday, I had dual exhaust installed on my '65 and don't like the way that it sounds. The muffler guy did a great job, crossover and all, I told him that I wanted it quiet and he ordered a pair of 'quiet' mufflers.
It's quiet out the tips at the rear of the car, is dead quiet at an idle and actually sounds good out the back when revved but, the actual mufflers resonate or vibrate internally whenever a load is placed on the engine, and the sound from inside the car just weird....
Tonight, I ordered some Dynomax Super Turbos from Summit, and if these don't sound right, I'll move on to something else!
I'll figure it out sooner or later!!
I also ordered a Pertronix ignition for the distributer and a full set of KYB Gas-a-Just shocks.
I'm trying to get the car ready for Las Vegas in April....

My buddy came by with his trailer to tow my truck to his repair shop. (Fired up the truck this morning and something was wrong,.....something throttle related, so I didn't want to drive it, in case it was the throttle wire. Better to be stuck in the driveway than out on the road/highway.)
He hasn't seen the Roush yet, so I opened the garage after we got it loaded. He absolutely loved it. He was all over it and he's not really a big Ford guy.

I placed an order at Summit Racing last night at about 9:30pm with normal free shipping, just got home and my order is here!! How cool is that!!

I'm looking for advice on how I can get my harmonic balancer off. The outer part came off & the bolt holes on the inner part is somehow 2 small for 12 metric (proper size) bolts 2 fit yet 2 big for metric 10 bolts so pulley remover kit is worthless .......what's my next move.?......I miss driving my car
THE ONLY 2014 GOTTA HAVE IT GREEN SHELBY GT500 AND MY 2013 GT
Here's what I did with my Mustang today - I took pictures of it with the only Gotta Have It Green GT500 built. The new owner purchased the RIGHTS to the LAST 2014 GT500 produced at a Barrett Jackson auction for FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! (the money went to a charity). I live in a town of 15,000 in central Kansas, and as luck would have it, the new owner lives here and my GT is the same color!!!
