Drove her to work today, and once again got in early enough to get the best spot in the entire complex (right by cafe windows ). Terrible quality pic I know...but I zoomed in on an iphone through glass LOL. And yes, I pushed unlock, just to see my VLED Tritons flare up in anger

Saleen mentions using "marine grease" for urethane sway bar bushings in the owners manual. It always did the trick for me. I even spear to smear it on the endlinks also.

Oh I getcha, my car is sometimes better off when someone else does the work, ha ha, but I did install my MGW shifter this past weekend. Took me 3x as long as it should have, but in my defense, I didn't realize till halfway in that I was watching the wrong install video.

Thanks for the tip as I have my new sway bars coming next week. Installed my GT500 exhaust yesterday and loved the sound. Like everyone else has said, what a difference from the factory.

Today's installation.....hood struts and CAI.

Patrick, I heard that too. Hopefully Silicone grease I got will work. You know what I did NOT do though? I only greased the endlink bushings that attach to the chassis. Hindsight, I should have greased the endlink bushings that slide over the actual sway bar But I'll have to remove the entire sway to get that greased...ugh. If it still squeaks, then I know I have to do that now too. ugh....

LOL... that could be why it is taking so long.

I must admit, the S550 design is growing on me a tad.... just a tad.

This 2014.5 looks like an awesome collector. AND I just saw that they're bringing back KONA BLUE just for that limited production run. Wow.... I would buy one just for Kona.

I was going to say,...more than likely it's bushings. It almost sounds like a little birdie chirping. lol
Good luck Burton!

Yesterday I TRIED to do something with my Mustang.
Turns out when the GF and I went on vacation I took the Stallion's key and locked it in the gun safe in my condo 35 miles away and on our way back I didn't take the safe back, so no key. Yeah, I wasn't happy to discover that, lol.

Will fix that problem today and go get the Borlas barking and the Whipple whining

Got 2 of the DR's mounted/balanced on the 18x10 rims, and mocked one up against the car:

Got my girl out just cruising around. I just pretend gas is free when I swipe my credit card so I don't feel so bad about filling her up all the time

Decided to take the pm off to finish detailing Marilyn. I had to get her ready for our date (wife and I) for dinner and gelato.

Gave her her once a year light polish.

Flex DA
LC Gray pad
Menzerna Super Finish

then

LC Blue pad
CG Blacklight

I didn't have time to use CG V7 on her, so for now, just Blacklight as the LSP. I'll be detailing her more on Sunday anyways…probably a coat of Victoria Red by then.

Here's some in process pics to show her SWIRL FREE finish. Reflections against light source are key to show "true" finish.

And here's the outside glamour shots, against the true swirl revealer = the SUN.
