First of congrats on the new mods. Like Bill said it was a hollow/clanking/clunking/banging type sound. Not really sure how to describe it. All I know was I didn't have that with the stock panhard bar and I don't have it now with the steeda after filling it with sand.

BTW-My rear end is off to a bit towards the passenger side. I was hoping to not have to tinker with it anymore.

Did you try repositioning yourself on the seat?

I thought we measured 0.700" on each side with the plumb line when it was on the ramps?

Tom1 & 2- Are you guys running an oil seperator or catch can?

And for Tom1 specifically, did you run either when you had the Vortech?

Have I been demoted to Tom2??

I do not have an oil seperator or catch can... where would I need one?

The turbo pulls oil from the location of the oil pressure sensor (tee installed) and dumps back into the location of the oil level sensor (tee installed).

Nope, although I have considered it. But from looking at my intake and t-body, I don't have alot of blowby.

Just scheduled a service appointment at the dealership to have the recall work done as well has have my shaker 1000 hu replaced because of cd's skipping. I'm hoping that when they swap it out I get one of the new 08 HU that have the chrome bezels. I'm taking it in Friday morning and they said I should have the car back by early afternoon. I'm going to remove the center console and sail panels for them as I don't want them scratching anything up.

Oops, sorry Tom, meant to put a 2.

The majority feels the need for an oil seperator when going FI. Whenther that applies to S/C's only, I dunno.

Have you talked to Brent or Seth about this? Just curious what their take is on all this.

I'm guessing that you'll get an old (but new) deck. Doesn't really matter though as I see the D3 in your future.

Good thinking on doing the prep work for the Dealer mechanics. You don't want your leather e-brake to get scuffed.

Atleast let me hope for a new deck.

I hope that's the problem with mine. I just started noticing it recently. It doesn't seem to happen over smooth road, just on rough surfaces like all the stupid speed bumps in my complex.

I have had to adjust my PHB a couple of times too. After my new wheels were on, it was pretty far off again.

OK guys, help me out

When I look at the bottom of the thread it lists who's viewing the thread, why is there a + after your screen name? I know, behind the times as always.

Yup that's the only time I'd hear mine was over bumps and potholes. On smooth roads I didn't have a problem.

That's because the people with + are on your buddylist. Makes it easier to find your friends when your looking at the who's on the forum page.
