Boy I forgot how great that looked.
Tom, Congrats again. You're probably at the limit, but like you said, that much power comes full pull in 4th, and I doubt you'll see that...often

Thanks Tom2 for the pics, I'm sure they'll serve as good reference pics for my installer.

Congrats Great Numbers

But like everyone else says, just be careful. I'm sure you will though.

Congrats on the D-Specs Luis, Leo, Bill... The install party should be a blast.

One thing I've noticed alot about these engines is that it's not so much the HP that kills them, but it's the torque. Just becareful and use common sense- (I know you will, other members here- maybe not) and hopefully she'll last you a long time.
I'm really easy on stuff. I'll fool around every once in awhile, but nothing like a WOT 4th gear pull like that. If I was racing, I would be worried... or if I played around like Bill!

I don't think I'll even dyno it again on the Dyno Jet... just like the '89, the third time was the charm! I'll go with these numbers on my plaque I'll have made for the fuse box cover. Why push my luck??

Just have to figure out if I'm going to display rear wheel numbers... or engine numbers like the factory. 560/595 does have a nice ring to it compared to 475/505!

Not sure any of you has ever read this about Jobs but its very interesting, a little info about the man I never realized, outside the illness. He doth rule with an Iron Hand.

http://money.cnn.com/2008/03/02/news...tune/index.htm

But you can't argue that he makes great and innovative products, bleeding edge, leading edge. I like the products..................

Are you ever going to paint the Cam covers? Or change them out to something painted?

Regardless it looks fantastic

That's an old picture from last year, here are some newer ones. Cam covers are powder coated, not painted.

Tom that looks great, did you have them powder coated locally? That Saleen is such a clean mean look, thats what I'm going to do if I ever go FI.

One more question, with the Saleen does the power pull from low RPM's all the way thru the RPM range or does it come on after 3K or 4K? Seems like I remember the Saleen comes on right from the git go.

Looks good Tom, really, really good.
