Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery.

Leo, aren't you glad you didn't go with the SHR louvers? Leaks seem to be the big issue.

Man that sucks. For all the hype and wait to have them leak would be a big bummer. I personally love the way they look but am not going to remove a window to do so. I think I'd stick with the DG, sorry Leo, louvers when and if I get any.

Sounds like an improper installation issue.

You're right, it is an installation issue. What SHR didn't anticipate is the level of experience required for this install. For those who dealt with glass before (specifically the replacement of), it probably was a piece of cake. But, for the first timers, leaks have developed.

Some installs just require a level of experience and can't be substituted with a set of instructions, there's just too many variables. You know, kinda like installing gears.

Yup I'm glad I didn't get them because after seeing several pics I'm not of fan of how the louvers are angled. I agree with Tom I think it's an Install issue and not due to the quality of the louvers.

I'm glad I chose the CDC as I don't think I would have been happy with the SHR or DG's for that mattter. Like I told you Bill I like your DG's but I perfer the look of the CDC. Who knows maybe I'll switch to the Cervini's if I ever see those in person.

You told me you liked the CDC ones last Saturday. Well either way choose the ones you like. They both look good it's just a personal choice. Kind of like people choosing between the CDC,Cervini, and SSE ducktail. All three look good it's just left to personal taste.

Well I got new Stang stuff for my Bday. The Wife got me the MGW....no not the shifter...anodized cupholder bezel with the Pony logo coin holder, and the red eject button power outlet plug. Cool stuff, great quality.

Congrats. Post pics once they're installed.

Brian here's a pic of a C stripe w/o removing the GT emblem.

As if you haven't seen these before, here's the pics of the new parts. Install took about 2 seconds. Like I said great looking quality stuff. I told Zachary if he didn't behave in the car I would push the Eject button on him.

Looks good. I just noticed you have the two-tone seats. LUCKY! I wish that was an option in 06.

Any chance of convincing you to go to the track this Friday??

I do, but I think I like the DG more... but I will worry about it when I get there. Right now I'm not ready for them.

All the more reason to act up, just to see if it really works.

Very cool. I'm not a big fan of the cupholders though, gotta have my huge soda. How long til he can't help it and hits it anyway.

Don't go changing your story now. You told me you liked the CDC ones more because of the look. But you liked the fact that the DG's go on the window as oposed to around it like the CDC's.
