Right place right time.

The wife and I were at the mall yesterday getting ready to leave when some dude (later find out he's some local radio guy) approaches us and offers free tickets to an advanced screening of Grindhouse (Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez movie due out Friday). So obviously we accepted and saw the movie. For those of you that don't know it's two movies in one. With that said the first movie gets a 10 for the action and gore. The second movie has a lot of not so funny dialogue but makes up for it in the last half of the movie with an awesome car chase between two Charger's. The chase is remincent of the old school Bullit style chases. So the second movie gets an 8 in my book. As a whole the movie gets .

It's not my car. I was just showing Brian what C-stripes look like on the S-197.

Over-axle clamp is slipping most likely due to a preload condition of the pipe run.

Crack loose the driver's side axle-back clamp. Then crack loose the driver's side mid-pipe clamp.

Once it's all loose, have someone center your tip within the bumper cutout (or like how it is on the passenger side), then tighten the over-axle clamp, then the mid-pipe clamp last.

Sorry, I thought the silver car was yours and suggested with the black c stripes look better if the GT was painted black. And awhile back members were talking about louvers so I just posted the picture of my car with the CDC louvers for reference. So.............never mind.

Gotcha!

FYI-Bill should be done or close to done with his MGW shifter install. He called me a few hours ago to tell me he was halfway through. So Tom make sure you have your CC near buy.

My withdrawl is gone, for the time being...I got to see my car today

Thank goodness I had it covered in the garage...the pollen here is TERRIBLE. I guess I won't be able to drive it, unless I want a yellow car. So, the withdrawl will continue, because the car was put up clean, and I would like to keep it that way, since I won't have it again until the end of April.

Also, I put the MGW cupholder bezel in it's place, without the tape as Tom and Bill mentioned. Unfortunately, as soon as I turned the camera on, the batteries died

So, you will see pics in about 30 minutes, as soon as the batteries are done recharging.

Question for all the married guys...

Do your wives make fun of you for spending time on the forum?? Just wondering cause my wife says "It's dorky but cute". She compares it to people who play Worlds of Warcraft or Dungeons and Dragons.

No, but just because you see my name on the bottom (or my green light on) doesn't mean I'm here. So it probably looks like I'm here a lot more than I really am.

Would any of you buy a used camshaft? I probably wouldn't. Even though it's a roller cam and has virtually no wear, I would still be afraid to buy a used one.

Bet that goes for top dollar, though!

Well, the saga continues...

Stupid me left my USB cord in NC. So, I now have pictures, but no way to put them on to the net.

So, I will have them up on SUNDAY.

I'll save everyone the trouble:

Sorry.

hold up...I just found a USB cord to use...

Here are pics. Unfortunately, I now have to find a place to put the keys and the remote for my sirius, so I don't scratch up the bezel. (mainly from the keys).

BTW, please don't comment on those scratches on the console in the second pic. I think they just look bad because I used the flash.

Looks good!

That's why I only use it at car shows. Nobody sees it any other time, anyway.

OK, but I'm glad your leather seats are "cracking" just like mine!

Sure that's my excuse to.

I wouldn't buy a new one so a used one's out of the question.

Oh my god you might as well get a new console that things beat to hell.
Looks good with the black tape. Especially since you have the coin holder which also has some black. How about a pic without the coin holder.
