Better yet, Luis should give up the CS for training purposes as his is closest to stock, which will be the easiest to drive.

Mine is just too jumpy... remember Jed behind the wheel?
Even worse now for a 1st timer with the alum. flywheel and HD clutch.

Sweet.

just remember, the easiest way for a beginner to learn is give it just a tiny bit of gas, and slowly and smoothly let out of the clutch, over time, you'll get quicker at releasing the clutch, and with that much power you wont need to give it any gas

I tried this method when I picked up my car after the motor install and it stalled out.

Then it dawned on me, it's the aluminum flywheel.

So now, it requires more gas for a smoother takeoff, and in turn takes off like I'm trying to race somebody. Next time we all have our cars at the proving grounds, I'll let you guys drive it.

Lol, I did the same. Bought the car and learned how to drive stick. Was on the open road in traffic within 2 days. Figured that be the best way to really learn.

When I do my clutch etc... I'll stick with steel. My friend has aluminum and it takes some getting used to.

Bill if I had more $$$ and the time, I would drive down there just for the trip. You should try 1 long road trip in that car of yours once you get it going again.

I remember that vid! Sheet.. Bill didn't warn me that I was about to take a mule ride.Back then it was 4:10 gears w/o FI. I think you may have to baby that mule if you don't get better rubber out back. So when you get Bessy back from the barn I figure you have 500 break-in miles before you have to buy tires & rims. Otherwise when you drop the hammer you maybe spin'in like a top

So who is willing to let my drive their manual?

I haven't drank since last Saturday night.

C&C.. can't, taking Chris to Muay Thai in the morning, then making the D-Spec and springs deal in the afternoon.
