What about tomorrow? Do they not work Fridays? Tell them you've got a car show on Sunday and you need it back. Then get your *** down to SD on Sunday.

No way they can assemble to longblock, install blower, shoe engine back in car, and base tune it in a day. Well, maybe Adam can.

I'm not pushing anymore issues from this point as they seem to back on track with me.

So what's the word on the intake manifold?

Can't believe it's close to 1k for some dam gauges.

So much for trying to get those in at the same time as the SC.
Why do you think I haven't gotten mine yet ?? It sucks. I've estimated about 7-8 bills for mine. I've been doing it piecemeal. and the last big hump to get over is the actual gauge. After that it's all down hill (but I'm only doing two gauges and a shift light).

If you can live with an 'idiot light' set up of a narrowband (like me ), it'll be way cheaper.
No offense, Bill.
Leo if you're doing a A/F do the wideband. The price sucks but it will be worth it.... IMO. If you're going to do it, do it right.

Good to hear Bill. At least something is happening. Once the ball gets rolling it'll be done before you know it.

Well, because it hasn't been mentioned in my last statement (today's), I'm assuming the guy was able to replace it and the head gasket under warranty, so no charge to me.

No offense taken. Hey, I would've gone wideband had it came in the Ultra Lite II Series, but for some stupid reason it doesn't. The additional $300 or so bucks was not the issue, I just wanted all matching gauges, and I really liked the design of the ULII's.

To be honest, you won't feel much (if any) gains at all, maybe it'll rev up in neutral a little quicker. Any more than that will mostly likely be a Placebo effect.

However, when done with other mods (CMDP's, CAI, DS, gears, O/R pipe, etc), the gains are more realized.
Sounds like it might not be worth the effort.

Yeah no doubt I'm doing the wideband. I think after the blower is in I'll buy one guage per paycheck then when I have everything I need I'll go get them installed.

Brian-Are you getting a shift light like this one.

Nope. When I got the SOS gauge pod I ordered it with the Raptor mount. So I'm going with one of those.

If you're only planning on your CAI and UDP's as your only bolt-ons, I'd say save your money. Only being straight up with you, UDP's are not biggest bang for the buck mod.

I didn't even have my car around for months and I was STILL buying mods for it.

It's a very sick addiction. I don't think I've gone a month without some sort of mod since I bought the car.

That's the least they could do after all the money we've given to American companies.
