Leo, you're always up to some interesting stuff. Hope the plan works out

If the saleen is what you want, find a way. I'm sure someone will bite.

Congrats Tom !!!!

I know I'm a little late, but better late than never, right ?

F the Saleen and get a Whipple.

Hope it works out for you Leo. Granted the vortech is no slouch but you can't beat the instant power from a twin screw.

Instant is only good if you can put it to the ground.

Thanks everyone. I'll keep you all posted on how this turns out.

I like the whipple it's just you can't combine it with Shaker and have it look good. I'll be happy with the Vortech or Saleen it's just the Saleen Supershaker has gives that extra eye candy and will make my shaker functional. For me it's not about twinscrew vs centri.

Yeah I know, just wanted to give you a hard time.

Hey I can put mine to the ground and I think that's 'cause I still have the 3.55s. I can't imagine what yours would be like with the 4.10s

the latest...

Motor, trans, and DS is in. Just waiting on the replacement intake manifold to come in, then the rest of the stuff to get bolted on.

Not too much longer!

So I'm guessing if the intake comes in tomorrow at a reasonable time you should have the car back by then?

Honestly, I didn't care if he was "right or wrong". I like the polished look I'm putting very good numbers down and I enjoy the high end pull. If we're all talking about regret... I will say if I would have known how much this Vortech system was going to cost me in the long run I would have spent the extra all upfront and gone with a nice Turbo set-up with GT500 pumps. But you can't plan like that, could have had the same or different problems with a much higher initial cost.

I love my system and with some supporting mods like a 1 piece driveshaft, CMDP, gears, GT500 pump will only make life that much better. I love the added traction these Nitto 555 tires provide. And having a 10" rim out back helps too

Good news

Leo- Don't settle for second best. You wont ever be happy. But keep in mind issues which "could" arise form the supercharger which could cost you more $$$. Just my 2 cents. Saleen Shaker is badass though.

This ones for Luis Lol (random)

I would think so.

Even though the blower still needs to go in, all of that stuff is already pre-installed, hoses attached and mostly complete. So I'd imagine that part of the install should go rather quick.

Not to mention Greg is probably pretty tired at looking at my car in his shop looking like furniture.

Sadly yes. New rings were installed, so I have to go through that painful 'no-boost' 500 mile break-in.

No more beer christening vids if that's what you mean.

I got big grief last time for wasting that precious liquid gold.

Man law #31

Though shalt not pour beer on the ground.

It would have been OK if you would have caught the beer in a bowl and then drank, that's OK
