I don't think it will be that long. It's just one of those things where they tell you it will be longer than it really will so your not calling and bothering them every other day. Either way no biggie as there's track days several times a month all year long here in SoCal.

My car probably won't look as cool considering I'll only be running slick in the rear and I'll have 18" polished bullits up front and 17" silver bullets on the back. As long as it hooks though I don't care.

--------------

I wonder if I should take my rear spacers out when heading to the track? I also plan on buying a set of mud flaps so I don't cover the rear fenders with rubber.

That looks cool?

Looks like big ol' baloon tires.
Maybe sick for the track, but silly on the street, IMO.

Anything will work, you guys are the beer experts. 3 or 4 six packs will be sufficient. Thanks, I'll call you guys.

Well finally some good news. Spark plug was removed successfully. He's testing pressure overnight to make sure the leak the car had is fixed. Car was dyno tuned today. Tomorrow go in guages and rechecking everything. Saturday pick-up. I'm curious to see what he's achieved powerwise.

He also said he has a GT500 fuel pump that came in with another kit of his and wont need it. He said he might be able to cut me a real good deal on it since he'll have no use for it. So I may also come ahead with a nice fuel pump sometime in the future. We'll see how that goes.

525 at the crank is about 450 RWHP, and it says "more than adequate", which explains why I can hit 475 RWHP safely.

It is all interesting, and I'm still not sure why BAPs are needed sometimes (if they really are needed at all).

Tom I bet your fuel pump duty cycle is just about maxed out. The BAP is cheap insurance.
