Nope the only reason it has "again" is because the server crashed and they lost the original thread. We should be good untill the next server crash.

Mothers products

Disregard the Power Metal.. I used the Mag & Aluminum with a mini-Powerball, then final buff with the Billet Metal Polish.

Maybe I'll just hold out for the 4.6L blower.... I honestly can't imagine something that big on these motors (2.8 or 3.4). My GTi had a 2.8L engine.... the blower is that big. Unreal. But so very cool.

Sadly our network here sucks and so I can't see the pics from my own link . But I have been following the build of jsawyers car and ChevyKillers. There are some pics on another forum of ChevyKiller's engine and WOW. It's be nice to sink that kind of scratch into these cars.

I noticed alot of Dyno Tuners test cars with the hood up and fans a bowling. I don't mind the fans blowing I guess it mocks a driving situation. The hood up is deffinetly something that wouldn't happen in real life (except on a bad day!). I wonder if it effects Dyno Numbers? another example is this ice chest, I heard ST Motorsports is held in high standings when it comes to SC installs and engine builds. However testing like that makes me wonder? . opinions, comments, stones?

^Maybe its not that unusual, I dont like the hood up; but I've seen people putting bags of ice on their intake at the drag races to cool it off. I'd rather dyno it with hood closed, fans blowing; give a more real-world result.

Well, you know what that'll mean Brian! Forged Internals!

From what I understand the 3.4 is very much under development and it's possible the or a bigger intercooler reservoir isn't yet built, hence the ice-chest ?? As for the fans I don't think it's to stimulate driving but to keep air flowing through the non-moving vehicle to prevent over-heating. Having the hood up ,besides for cables and access for mechanical adjustments, would be also for the same reason. I really don't believe any dyno that anyone other than a Mfg. can afford is being used to stimulate actual road conditions

If you seek out, and I can post the links later this evening, the other 3.4L it does not look the same and they've already started to modify the stock intake manifold and port placement...etc...

I'd say bleeding edge, but I think ST Motorsports have already passed that.

I'm annoyed. I ordered gauges last night. So I sent my shop mech an e-mail asking him if I needed anything else. I get a reply right now him saying he'd ordered guages for me and he'd send them back since I bought some. But the two for one install price would not apply since I went an bought from another source. So he wanted $300 to do the pair of guage installed.

So now in order to get it for the original qoute I'm returning my purchase to order form him to get the nice install price. I love how he ordered without me even asking. He ordered on an inquire I had 2 weeks ago. UGH!!!

So annoying. This idea of being blown better be worth it in the end. *end rant*
