Was it from Adrenalin, our resident Moderator?

I remember that post! Wasn't he the one who had to repaint the entire car due to a truckful of gravel dumping in front of him?

Query: If an OK man and an OK woman get a divorce, are they still cousins?

Oil change yesterday. 5014 miles. 148:13 hours. (but looks like 48:13 hours). Chris used "6 quarts Castrol syntec 5/20 semi-synthetic blend, Motocraft filter". Did we do the right thing? I know some of y'all are using Mobil 1 synthetic.

Sounds good to me (as long as he put in the 6 quarts, and not 6.5 like we talked about awhile back). Will that need to be changed every 3000 miles, or can you go to 5000 miles like the Mobile 1? (unless you are Daryl)

Man, that seemed like a LONG time ago...

You'll have to remind me in about 3 or 4 months about the 6 quarts thing. That's my ET for the oil change.

First time I heard you wanting the Shaker Tom.
Does that mean I need to bite the bullet and order it ?
Was hoping to get it on sale again for $699.00
Just to let you guys know, the next mod for my car (after the stripes) will in fact be the SHAKER.

Hmm let's see
Shaker $795.00
Classic Chin Spoiler $225.00
=====================
TOTAL $1020.00
I will have to psych myself up for that one.

I mis-read that! I thought you wanted me to add the Shaker to my future mod list. They should look good compared to what we have now!! Can't wait to see the covers.

I have always liked the 2003/04 Mach 1's. Since the Shaker is more of an appearance mod than a performance mod, I guess I can get it without changing anything in the engine compartment. I'll just be adding something and modifying existing parts. I'm sure there is some HP gain, but not until higher speeds where you can really get some air forced in there.

Here's how I figure it:

Shaker = $795
Sell plenum cover = -100
Don't have to buy hood scoop = -250
Don't have to paint hood scoop = -150

So the Shaker is only going to cost me $295!

I'm working my 6th day tomorrow (time & a half) so that will cover it!!!

Heheheh! I sorry.

Seriously, those with the Shaker units, you can't really see the cam covers on the passenger side, or the fuel rails for that matter.
So you just may have lucked out.

Now that I just saved you all that money, go order that CDC Shaker now.
