You need to invest in one of these, much less risk of marring, chipping, etc.

Not bad, Grasshopper!

But, if I may... it's the small details that'll count in popping open your hood to show off your engine bay. Take note my student...

Sorry, last of my Quad posts here...

I started wiping down parts of the engine bay and tires with Z-16 this afternoon in preperation for my Drive-In show this Wednesday night.

I think I finally started to lose it. I broke out the Q-tips (dipped in Z-16) to wipe the small crevices near the A/C lines.

And when I was treating the tires, I started to have a panic attack as my Polished Bullitts were coated with black brake dust (from my drilled rotor swap)! Arghh!!
After the pads mate (hopefully soon), I may pull the wheels to clean the inside of the wheels and calipers.

So, what ya think? OCD?

Don't forget to tell him about the plastic rings on the A/C lines! I guess I can tell him...

Daryl, you can cut off those 2 plastic rings where the A/C lines are on the driver's side. Back there behind the strut tower. They are just leftover from the caps that used to be on the lines or fittings.

Ahh yes, I initially looked to see if he still had those, couldn't see it in the engine bay shots, but now I see them visible in the x-ray hood shot.

Good catch, Tom!

I knew you would notice the dirt in the little crevices of the factory air box (Lord do I hate cleaning that stupid air intake tube as well )
The brake resevoir, I cleaned and did the teflon tape and noticed it is leaking again just forgot to clean and redo the fix.
I don't know about turning the caps that maybe going too far
I want a set of those strut tower nut covers, but D A M N they are expensive.

I know I can cut those little rings off, I just always forget to.

I didn't say I was charging you for the strap wrenches, I just mentioned we sell them.

I'll take your word for it, I yanked mine's out before I Z-16'd it.

Maybe it needs additional wraps, cap should 'cam' on fairly tight.

Me too! Maybe next month.

Took me a little while too.
btw- I finally scraped off those 'red dots' off the tire sidewall (with my fingernail)

That's not going to far... I turn them straight. Really shows you go the extra mile.

I guess I should do that and remove the stickers from the rims too, 3M Adhesive Remover do it?

Uhh, do I need to spell it out ? I'll send you guys one FREE LOL (guess I had better check to make sure we still have them, being away from the store will make you lose track of what's in it)
PM or EMAIL the addresses and I will get them out today/tomorrow.

I finished my interior last night, and getting Z-16 on the stuff in the back seat is a PITA !!!
BTW This is Tuesday. weekly painter visit, and I hope they are finished !! I'll let you know, may stop by at lunch instead of after work.

Cheaper stuff that'll work is Goo Gone or WD40 to remove that sticky stuff.

What a pal!

I hope you removed your shoes before entering the rear seating area! (no floor mats back there)

Man, I hope so too! I think I'll lay down a coat (or two) on the CDC spoiler this weekend. 2 weeks of 'flash off' should be good enough (my painter said to wait a week).
