My first car-

I guess it's the Ford Escort although at the time of purchase it was the wife's and mine only mode of transportation (This was in 2003). A year later I got the 04 Pony vert. Then two years later I traded it in for the Mustang I have now.

Daryl- Sent you a friend request on Xbox Live.

Bill- Sent one to Chris too.

What a scam I can't believe they awarded her all that money for something she's at fault for.
---------------------------
Got a call from the body shop today saying my car is ready today. Since I won't be in LA untill tonight I told them I didn't want to pick up the car untill I've checked it out in the daylight. Which means I'll be picking it up tomorrow morning. So unless something stupid happens within the next 24hrs I should have my baby back.

--------------------------
I stayed up till 3 last night beating Gears of War as well as playing co-op mode on line and a couple of deathmatches too. I'm addicted.

Now I have someone to blame if something goes wrong with the car. Always glad to help someone spend their money.

Bill what are you waiting for? I'm sure it's killing Chris to hear all his classmates talk about this game.

Yeah, Leo... better go find some wood to knock on!

I have to go find a copy of COD3 for the 360 after work today. I didn't know it was released 2 days ago!

I told Chris lastnight that you have GOW and he asked how you like it. I told him you thought it was a cool game. Of all the 360 games he bought (most by me), none get played as often as COD2, he's always on Live with that game. I tell ya, if there's ever some worldwide COD contest, he'd be in the forefront.

I tried to buy my brothers 1970 AMC Javelin with a 390 4 speed and a posi rear but that one slipped away… I always wondered if dear old dad took my brother aside and told him not to sell it to me. His excuse was pretty lame and he sold it for less than I offered.
Anyway, I ended up getting my sister's car which was a 72 Gran Torino with a 302 auto. It was painted a funky yellow color that faded to kind of pumpkin yellow.
I fixed all the dents she put in it (and one I did) and my uncle taught me how to paint cars so I tore it apart and painted it blue and put a Starsky and Hutch stripe on it. A year later I dropped in a 351 Cleveland Cobra Jet and a 4 speed. I loved that car!

My first was a 1972 Grand Torino Sport with a 429/C6. I eventually rebuilt the motor w/1970 429 heads (better compression and no EGR hump) bigger cam and a Holley 850 and 3.73's in the rear. To this day I miss that car. It was BUFUGLY. The maroon paint had faded real bad so that that last ticket I got the color the cop wrote down was rust. Ugly and Heavy, it was quick. A burn-out king to say the least.

I just noticed that pville had a 72 torino too !!, small world

Here's one of the things I found out about the Z-16 from Sal:

If you want to use it on the seats, but don't like the HIGH gloss, you can dilute it with some water to get the same protection but with a little less gloss and luster. He also said you can mix the Z-10 and the Z-16 together if you want to try that.

My seats do look wet and oily now, but they're not. I may try 2 parts Z-16 and 1 part water mixed in a spray bottle to tone it down a little next time.

so , yea or nay on the Z-10 for the seats. I used it once and did not notice any dye on the white towel I used. I am planning on doing the interior this weekend and should I use it again or use the Z-16 ??

Sal also explained that we have "spray-dyed" seats and as you sit in them and clothing rubs on them, and sweat gets on them, that the dye will loosen. The conditioners in the Z-10 will lift out the dirt and any loose dye flakes. The Z-10 may not have pulled out any dye in the passenger seat but I didn't try it. I do know that the Z-10 would have kept pulling dye from the driver's seat, but the Z-16 didn't pull any dye from any seat.

I like the Z-16 and will use that from now on. (2 parts Z-16 and 1 part water, but I may change that based on the amount of gloss.)

The more I think about it, I think the Z-10 is designed for more expensive leather seats that you find in luxury cars. They have full leather and it isn't spray-dyed. Ford and GM seats are NOT the best leather seats.

That's not your car. I noticed the speaker covers aren't painted and I don't see an MGW cup holder bezel.Plus she looked familiar. Check out this link.
