Anyone order the MGW seat lever buckles yet?? Any opinions on the coat hanger kit?

btw- I drove by a Dealer on the way to work this morning and noticed they were advertising their 'special' all lit up in bright lights, Roush Supercharger, $6995 installed!

Good luck, Leo!

No money - no seat levers. I'll have to look again - how noticeable are they at a car show? For you guys, I think the only person that will ever see them is YOU! For me, people may get their heads in a little further to notice them when the top is down.

I don't think I'll get the coat hangers.

Go fix some rides on O/T. That'll build up your mad money.

Probably not noticeable at all, unless you open your door like I've seen others do at carshows.

I know what you mean.

Do you have any attached to your convertible top?

I need my promotion to go through. They held the job until I got back - guess that's a good sign.

I would never open my door at a car show - well, I mean to KEEP it open.

Um, no.

What promo? Sounds like you have the best job in the Kingdom! Careful for what you wish for, you may end up having to work for a living.

I hear ya. I freak (just a little) having to leave my windows down for hours. I can almost see the dust flying in and my new car smell whithersoever away.

I wasn't sure if you had some type of hanger there. Guess ragtop people aren't expected to go to the dry cleaners.

I'll still work in the same department at Animal Kingdom, but I'll be a "Planner" instead of a "Tech". I'll have an office and I'll order any parts needed for maintenance jobs. Everybody that went from tech to planner said it was the best move they made. I'll work a little more, but I'll get paid more, too... and have weekends off.

No mouth - spooky. I did notice that, though.

Sounds like a good deal. I can see it already... Tom's sittin' at his desk with TMS in the background all day (sounds like someone I know ).

My 'no mouth' was freaking me out, had to change it.

That's what I do now! Just have to log in and out now so other people can use the computer a little, too.

I'm on a list.
They said they would call or email when they were available. It should be getting close. They said the end of October.

That's nuts. Brenspeed is the exclusive (and I think only) distributor of the Pypes O/R H and they (Pypes) can't bend a few tubes and do a little bit of welding in a shorter time frame?

The process MUST be more complex than I imagine.

One-Touch Rear Windows

Here's my little write-up for the one-touch rear windows. I definitely recommend this kit from WebElectric for any vert owner. Why it didn't come this way from the factory is beyond me.

The switch panel is very easy to pop out. It pops OUT with the piece below it, and then pops UP away from that lower piece.

Attachment 12578 Here is BEFORE. I already popped out the normal switch, but I layed it back in place for the picture.

Attachment 12579 Here is the new AUTO switch being installed. It's a genuine Ford switch - I guess for the passenger side, as the driver's side is a double switch. The wire harness just clips in and out of the switch very easily.

Attachment 12580 Here is how it looks AFTER - much better!

Attachment 12581 Here are the wires taped up from the factory.

Attachment 12582 And here are the wires untaped - the installation instructions say to unwrap them back to the junction, which I did.

Attachment 12583 Here are the connectors that come in the kit, and the mint to enjoy after installation (but I enjoyed it DURING installation).

Attachment 12584 Since I hate those connectors pictured above, and since I'm an electrician, I have to solder everything. So, here are the wires stripped back a little.

Attachment 12585 And the module soldered in. Normally you just clip the red connectors over the module's wires and the switch's wires. They are too bulky, and soldering is a WAY better connection.

Attachment 12586 And the wires taped up with electrical tape.

Attachment 12587 You just drop the module into the opening in the arm rest - I wedged it in a little so it wouldn't rattle... And, finally, the AFTER shot.

And, by special request from Bill... a stupid video. I still hate the way my camera clicks and Photobucket really messes up the quality!

Is this a good deal? (I know I'll need another quart)

And, is the 5W-20 we use considered 'regular' or 'Extended Performance'?

I just checked Quicken, and I paid $38.96 for 6 quarts of Mobil 1, Motorcraft filter, and tax at Wal-Mart. So, with that filter, I guess it's a good deal.

Extended Performance is the 15,000 mile oil, I think. Hey, check my link, too!

I'm about to hit 6000 miles... maybe I'll see if my Auto Zone has that deal, too.

I use the Regular NOT the Extended Performance. The regular has a black label around the Weight not the green.
Click the link in my signature on the Mobil1 it will show you what it should look like.

Nice write-up Tom. I noticed the watch tan (or lack of) too, but I am a little more courteous and didn't mention it.
