Went to the AT&T store this morning yike lines around the building for the IPhone. Then I went to the Manhattan Beach Apple store only to find lines around the mall. I said HELLO I'll wait, I'm not into Que's

This event has been rescheduled to July 19th due to further building renovations. The great news is I should be in town that weekend

IMO the iPhone is okay, not my style, too much crap on it, but I certaintly wouldnt pay as much as they want for it, if I gotta pay for the phone period, I dont wanna pay more than about $50 out the door and talking

 

I would wait to see what happens with prices first. Our plan is coming to an end in Aug. I'll look at phones after that. Nice Phone but a little spendy.

 

Ha, yeah I did the upgrade early and all went well then I was playing with it and managed to loose my contacts so yesterday I decided to do a restore so I could reload a back up and get my contacts back and I must have done it right in the middle of the rush because the servers were all backed up and when you do a restore it has to communicate with the itunes server. I spent most of the day without a phone but finally got it back up and running(with all my contacts). Had I known I would have been better off waiting a day or two or reentering my contacts manually, I could have done it faster than it took me to wait for the server to get freed up. It must have been a mess at the AT&T stores getting the new 3G because from what I understand you have to activate at the store now, and not at home on iTunes like before. I would assume they have the same problems there and a ton of people standing there waiting to activate

 

I think you guy's that have them should complain and ask for a huge discount for crap like that sounds like a PITA ?

 

Mine so far has been trouble free after the early upgrade. The people that got them the day of or stood line line are the ones that seems to have been put out the most. Following it along it seems that as the day wore on the issues were slowly going away ??


Funny enough you'd think they would have learned from the first iPhone mess but looks like they didn't
