Sorry to hear that dude. Actually Thursday was like that for me. Boring as crap. F'd around on the 'net enough that even that got boring.

You still interested in the headers ? I'm calling 281 in the next day or so to order them. I'm gonna get the ceramic coated headers. Will have to pay 120.00 to get them.

Leo, that was your longest post EVER. Welcome to my world at work. I guess it's better than digging ditches.
Too bad you're not up this way during the week, I'm sure us guys can think of something to do.

Brian, good luck with the move. Don't sweat Sat, I'm sure they'll be plenty more outings to come.

I'll contact Danny later today to see what the poop on the scoop is on my heads.

Depends. He never told me how much he wanted for them.

See and there lies the rub. I want to make money for DRs but I don't want to have you feel that I'm over-charging you.... so I don't, honestly, know what to ask for them...... is $400 too much ?

That sounds fair. Let me call a few local shops to see how much it's going to run for the install and the I'll give you a definitive yes or no.

$400 is a great price.
Brian, is there a reason why you don't want them on your car?
Leo, buy now, worry about the install later.

My car's timeline is all screwed up as far as needing parts asap or not a rush, otherwise I'd be in the running for these JBA's.

In meetings all day, so like yesterday I'll be on-n-off for very short periods.

I've gone back and forth install or sell.... Yeah they add bling, but you know me. Except for JBA and 281, everyone says I'd be better served spending the $$ on DRs for the track than the headers because of the low HP/TQ gain. I've yet to see a real-live side-by-side comparison. Since I'm running cats they aren't going to change the tone much at all, maybe a little deeper.

So knowing all of that I think selling them is the best bet.

The only turn-off I can see is the labor involved. I think it'll run around $300-400 shop labor or 10+ hours on your back (kinked neck and bruised knuckes are free).

I'll take them. Then maybe I can convince a couple of you to give me a hand with the install. Any volunteers?

Sounds like a plan. You help me with the headers I'll help you with your Eibach, D-Spec install. Go figure I never thought I'd be doing headers on this car. I think what pushed me over the egde was looking at how horrible the stock manifolds look next to my newly powdercoated cam covers.

Been meaning to post this for a while but kept putting it off. Socal guys (you non socal people to if you want to pay shipping.) I really want to get rid of that darn subwoofer and speaker system so I'll give you guys the POTR hookup and offer it to you guys for $250. Pretty good deal right?

Very good deal for anyone interested. Doesn't have to go in the Stang, can install it in your DD.

For me, already got a sound system in the Taco AND I chucked my spare in the Stang.. so don't need to put back more weight.
