While I do own a Mustang, it is my dear Wifey's car. This one is mine. I do not recommend it as a daily driver, but if you are looking for something different the C5 & C6 Corvettes are very reliable cars. And being an American car, the upkeep is no where near the German, and European cars. More than the Mustang however. There are tons of nice low mileage Vets out there. Just a thought.

Might be blasphemy on a Ford site, but I certainly agree. I like pleasant dilemmas on 'what to buy'.

I used to have 2 mustangs, one coupe one vert. I decided 2 years ago that I was done with 2 door cars and bought an escalade. It was comfortable, rattle free and ridiculously stable on the highway (6500lbs and AWD). It rode like a tank! Everytime I saw a mustang pass by I would stare at it because I missed them so much. I'm back in a mustang now and love it. All of those things I thought I did not want (rattles, loud exhaust, drone, ability to lose traction at any second) are all of the things I missed. It's hard to let go of something you really care about. For most people a car is for getting from point A to point B, for mustang owner's it is an extension of who they are.
