Sorry guys, we had some growing pains this morning and didn't know it was an issue because the error wasn't showing up to admins. We are working on the issue now but you shouldn't see that error anymore.
Thanks.
Thanks.

LOL, appreciate the welcome but very sorry for the server error. We will get it fixed so it wont happen again. This is a new server and the backups script ran into a problem which took up all the server resources.

Whatever you guys did, its still not working right.
Since Sat the 5th the pages are loading slow a lot of the time. Not always but frequently. And the page sometimes hangs on loading to where I have to hit refresh to get it to load. (Hangs = TMS green screen using McQueen Green skin.) This is happening both when I click a link to read a post or upload my own post.
Definitely not smooth like it has been.
FYI

Is the new server 'reading' me (more than usual)? Or have you inserted another layer that has to load to get to the page requested? I'm not a techie but trying to describe accurately what I am experiencing - that is different from pre-Sat when everything was loading swift and in 'one motion'.
fwiw, F150 take 15 seconds to fully load. Pauses on a blue screen. Challengertalk is the same way. Some say you (and Chally talk) have pop-ups loaded but with my pop-up blocker I don't see them. However, I don't get the "pop-up blocked" ding either.
(S197forum loads promptly in 4 secs and its a vBulletin too...)

Not sure about the challenger site... not a site we are apart of. I'm not hearing any other complaints though on F150Forum.com (which is on a different server in the same data center) or this site. The error on Saturday was from the backups scripts running and had nothing to do with how the page loads. Just took a lot of server resources.
Do you know how to do a traceroute? Maybe you can see where the slow down is occurring?

Ive noticed in the past few days that sometimes pages are slow to load for me as well. Usually sometimes in upwards 30sec or more. sometimes hitting F5 will immediately refresh and load hte page. I know our old host had to tweak quite a few things, not sure if its the same issue.
Nathan, ill shoot you a message about it shortly.

Huh, that's odd because nothing has changed at all. We actually moved servers on 5/30 and everything else has been the same ever since. We haven't changed anything really except for the server hardware which as I said is a fast box with a fat pipe. Hmmmm.

things are slow for me...I am on a 6mb plus pipe at home with only me on it and this site is slow loading the last week. The other car sites I visit (in excess of 10) still run fast as before. I also get page failures and have to hit refresh before they load correctly.
Is a new ISP hosting this? Wonder if it has to do with any type of DNS resolution and propagation across the internet?

Yup, we are in a new data center now and I think there are a few ISPs that are having trouble finding the new site.
If you could view this thread and give us some info we will try to get this worked out: https://themustangsource.com/f651/sl...w-here-484209/
Thanks!
