New "Garage" Feature

Gang...we have implemented a new feature on TheMustangSource.com. You can now create a "Garage" that allows you to give the specifications of your Mustang along with pictures and descriptions. It's pretty sweet and will allow you lay out your specs/mods/upgrades in an easy and organized manner. I think this will be a great way for you to show-off your ride and learn about other members' Mustangs.

You will notice the new link in the Header:

In order to create your own garage, while you are logged in, click on the "My Garage" link and then click the "Add Vehicle" button on the next page.

You can also search through the garage to find other member's garages and check out their rides.

Here is a quick example of the garage that Evil_Capri put together as an example:

Please let me know if you have any questions and I'm excited to see everyone's Mustang in the Garage!!

So I uploaded 3 pics (1 from file, 2 jpg's from my website), saved, set permissions to everyone, then it says it can't be seen by anyone...

No one else has reported any problems yet so lets try and figure this out. You didn't get any errors along the way? Can you try again just to see if it's an account problem?

Thanks and sorry for the trouble.

Will there be links to our garage near our avvie's? It seems to me that would be a good place to easily find details about someone's car. I'm looking at cdynaco's post and don't see a link to the garage he created.

Yup, check under Evil's Avatar / Post & Image Count. You'll see a link that says "Garage" and will show a preview of his car https://themustangsource.com/f650/ne...7/#post5892673

Also in his profile, there is a new garage tab

I see it, thanks. I guess it's just cdynaco who's not fully set up yet.

Sorry - had to go.

Apparently I must load a 'garage image' (main pic) first. I had done it backwards and loaded ext/int/eng pics first and had not loaded a main image.

Just got mine finished up. I need to update a few pictures as they're with older mods, but overall great implementation guys!

Thanks. One thing this exercise did for me was made me realize I've spent WAY too much time and money on my car.

Ah well, I'm thrilled with my results and believe I have a pretty unique look to mine.

Awesome example garage. Nicely done!

BTW, 28 garages over the past 24 hours. That's a great turn out. I love looking at everyone's vehicles. keep it up!

I have a suggestion, do you think you can add a 'like' feature that will allow us to 'like' other's garages/cars and maybe it shows in our garage a link to the garages for all the cars we like?

That would be cool but would require some significant code changes. Maybe next time around.
