Wonton is just the fried egg roll skin. Whatever that is. Some kind of egg based dough with rice flour I suppose. Basically a wonton is the tortilla chip of Chinese cuisine.
Inside the egg roll is mostly cabbage. With pork and some vegetables and spices. I think theirs have shredded carrots in them.
But both are fried.

I have seen them with a dab of cream cheese in them. I've also seen them with a piece of roasted pork in the middle. And I've seen them folded with nothing in the center. Also seen them as wonton chips like little strips. I guess it adds crunch to a cuisine that otherwise wouldn't have it.

most imitation crab I have seen is made of alaskan pollock.
I love to make a cheese dip with it for crackers.
a pack imitation crab
philly cream cheese
sour cream
garlic salt
onion powder
two mined green onions
mix all and let stand for an hour
and some fancy crackers
