Had Chinese food.

 

Had delivery pizza. I packed and drove over to LA early today and by dinner time we'd had too much to drive anywhere to eat.

 

I haven't had Chinese food in a long time. Good stuff.


Tonight is (Brat) sausage, celery, onion, stewed tomatoes, and rice pilaf all mixed in together!

 

Im coming over!

 

C'mon over bud! I have some left.

 

I'm now craving chicken lo mein ....

 

YES!!
And some pork fried rice!

Slow cooked beef ribs in the crock pot on a rainy football Sunday.

Making beef vegetable stew for the freezer for lunches.

 

 

Whisky and pizza for happy hour snack and some rest.

 

Cooked a pot of beans (pintos and white) with a hamhock and cornbread, fresh turnip greens, fried okra and Conecuh.

 

Grandma made me pot roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, Brussel sprouts and salad. She has always kinda overlooked her meat, but it always tastes good so it's okay. This was my late bday meal. And then my favorite, her homemade chocolate cake and whipped cream!

Nope, not for a while. Just fixed supper because we didn't feel like going out.

 

Now that right there is some down to earth good homemade cooking. OLD SCHOOL style.
