Trying to figure out how long to put the popcorn in for. When did they stop putting directions on the bag?

Seriously?!?!? You've got a college education and you can't figure out how to make microwave popcorn?

No wonder the country is going to ****. Bunch of people with a ton of education on paper, but no common life skills.

Probably a good thing you don't have a girlfriend.

I've been spoiled with the popcorn button. This thing is like from the 80s. And it wasn't for me. It was for someone else. .p

Are you serious? Just put it in on high, and wait until it has 2-3 seconds between pops and its done. Surely kids these days aren't that dependent on a button that does things for them. If you can't pop a bag of popcorn, you damned sure shouldn't be able to graduate college.

And from the "80's"? We used to have to make popcorn in a skillet on the stove with oil in the pan. You kids are doomed, no freaking wonder the country is in the shape it is. **** load of book learning, no common sense.

This microwave barely works. Good luck putting it on high.

I'm with Lee on this one Nathan.

My kids use the popcorn button. I use the high and listen method. Mines always better.

Do you remember making popcorn in a skillet on the stove on Sunday afternoons watching those old westerns (didn't have cable, just 3 channels) that were basically an infomercial for aluminum siding, every commercial break would be another pitch with a phone number to call to get a "deal" on aluminum siding.

I remember that my dad devised a method for making it. We used an iron skillet, but when it started to pop, a lot of pressure built up and would burn if you held the lid down. He took an old pan lid that fit the iron skillet into the garage and drilled some holes in it to let the pressure out and it made the best popcorn. Melt real butter and pour it over it and salt it, so freakin' good. Well, it was then, that's the way I remember it.

I remember those movie commercials, house siding, windows, or some of those metal car ports.

I always wondered why my dad didnt get that aluminum siding. In addition to the tv ads, I remember the door to door salesmen - tin men

I don't think you could use the listen method with this microwave. I don't recall having heard a single pop. Just burnt the crap out of it.
